Remember that if you lost a character you did not wish to lose, you may post in maintenance to take their soul back from the reaper starting Wednesday, September 11th. If you currently have no active characters, you may post immediately to reactivate one!

Hogwarts is back in session! This means that...

• All Students should make sure their CD entry is accurate—including the colouring!
  
• First Years may now post in the Sorting Ceremony to find out where they truly belong!
  
• All students should give some thought as to what courses they're taking. It's not mandatory, but can be v. helpful to professors (and disorganized players)
  
• Quidditch Tryouts are underway! Please make sure you register before posting in the appropriate thread. Tryouts run until September 14th.
  
• Professors should start thinking about class threads and homework assignments ;)

Hey all!

TinyPic is shutting down this month, and that's starting to impact certain on-board images—signatures, avatars, want ads. As such, you'll probably want to reupload somewhere else, remembering that Charming does not host user images!

If you're in the market for an image host, I recommend...

https://imgur.com/upload — delightfully easy uploads, fantastic uptime, and does not require an account however doesn't love being used to hotlink so you're being a bit of a butt using them for that I still do it tho

https://nickpic.host/ — designed with roleplayers in mind and lets you organize all your images within albums for easy use however not all regions of the world have access to it and so some of our players may not be able to see your pretty things.

In the meantime, all your TinyPic images have been replaced with sad faces, so have fun with that ;P

We have HEAPS of activities on the go/coming up, so I thought it would be tidy to do a little round up :)

• We have events for September and are now accepting listings for October
  
• One week left to finish the September writing challenge!
  
• Pumpkin Regatta signups run until the 2nd of October
  
• Potion Brewing signups close THIS SATURDAY

The AC is coming!  The Ocober AC will take place on this Saturday, October 5th! To ensure you survive, please make sure that...

• Your mini-profile is filled in with height properly formatted
  
• All of your characters have been listed in the Character Directory—check back on your entries to make sure they were processed properly! Anyone reactivated this month will need to be placed back on.
  
• Characters made before the last AC have posted at least once this month
  
• This one's mostly for staff, but that your full profile has been filled in ;)
  

If all of the above are squared away, there should be no reason for you to fall inactive in the upcoming check!  To our new members: the AC requires no work on your part. The staff team simply makes sure the above is seen to!
