Appearance: Kato has long, dark hair and expressive, brown eyes. He is an average five foot, seven inches with an athletic build. He favors darker clothing and will opt to wear wizarding robes if the chance presents itself. Truth be told, he has very little care about what the current fashions are, instead opting for what is comfortable. He is right handed.
History:
1871: Katoto is born. His birth is much celebrated despite the fact that he is a second son.

1876: Katoto shows his first signs of magic when he causes a bit of a flash flood in the middle of his bedroom.

1877: During the exodus to Hogsmeade, Katoto's family is among those that move into the wizarding village. They don't quite fit but they are completely fine with that.

1882: Katoto goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Hufflepuff. He immediately displays a natural knack for Herbology. He is a pretty social boy and manages to forge friendly connections with a variety of people.

1884: The plague strikes down Katoto's grandparents, putting the family into mourning. Kato was very close to his grandmother so he is especially effected.

1884: Katoto chooses Earth Magic and Care of Magical Creatures for his electives. Both come more easily to him than most of his other courses which are a bit more of a struggle for him.

1887: Katoto gets his OWL results. He excels in Earth Magic, Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology and Potions but his performance is more lackluster in other classes. Even so, he has enough passing grades to continue at Hogwarts. He continues on with Earth Magic, Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology, Potions and Charms.

1888: A fog spreads that causes magic to not work. The family manages to get through it well enough but are more than relieved when magic makes a comeback.

1889: Katoto graduates and begins work as a healing intern after getting his NEWT results. Working in such a structured establishment does not quite mesh with his more free-spirited way of being.
Personality: Spiritual. Connected. Social. Eccentric. Nature-loving.
Other: Katoto is very tied into his family's culture which doesn't always coincide with 'proper British society'.

Katoto's family has familial connections in Canada.
