Happy Canada Day, Charming!

The AC is coming!  The July AC will take place on this Saturday, July 6th! To ensure you survive, please make sure that...

• Your mini-profile is filled in with height properly formatted
  
• All of your characters have been listed in the Character Directory—check back on your entries to make sure they were processed properly! Anyone reactivated this month will need to be placed back on.
  
• Characters made before the last AC have posted at least once this month
  
• This one's mostly for staff, but that your full profile has been filled in ;)
  

If all of the above are squared away, there should be no reason for you to fall inactive in the upcoming check!  To our new members: the AC requires no work on your part. The staff team simply makes sure the above is seen to!

A few miscellaneous notices, too:

— Camp Charming continues, and we will have our first raffle draw on Saturday!
— The July writing challenge is officially live.
— Speaking of July, we'd love your events ;)
— Signups for Posting Wizard will be open until Friday (inclusive)
— Last but certainly not least, we'll be soliciting student staff applications until July 10th—get yours in today!

ACTIVITY CHECK:

THE LIST has been completed, and list cleanups/deactivations will be carried out throughout the day! If you lost a character you'd like back, you may post in Maintenance starting Wednesday, July 10th. If you have no currently active characters you can post in maintenance immediately :). If you lost a character before the AC, you can post there whenever you'd like!

Hi friends!

We're still taking applications for a number of student staff positions until July 26th—plenty of time to get yours in, even if you wanted to make a character to fit the bill ;) Reminder that, as always, house quidditch captains will be conferred upon a student in years 5-7 based on age and time spent on the team. All other quidditch positions will be available for tryout in September if not filled prior :)

Speaking of experience, general reminder to make sure your history records are up to date! These are kept track of for all student staff and quidditch players, as well as one-shot jobs. Please take a look at the linked spreadsheets to see if you should be claiming a position your character is held! This needs to be done when a character is approved, as well as when a character is reactivated with fewer than 50 points, to make sure no one else snags your past!

HTTPS WOES: Do not click links for Charming that have https in them—this will start a vicious circle of having to clear your cache to get the board to function again in your browser. It's a known issue. Make sure the links you click don't have the "s" and you should be fine :)
