Did you know?
The Language of the Flowers was a popular method to express feelings where words might be improper, but did you know other means of doing so? Some ladies used their parasols, as well as their fans, gloves, and hankies to flirt with a gentleman (or alternatively, tell them to shove it!). — Bree ( Submit your own)

This boy, then. He wasn't new. Wasn't one of the worst people in the common room, those rotten rich boys - like Mr. Jailkeeper - who could not fathom a world beyond their own farts. Was a good working class lad, so he'd heard. Had a bit of a weird looking face, and a bit of a weird thing for preaching. Still.Aubrey Davis in The Under-Sofa

The Tools to Unlock Trouble [Beginner's Charms]
See Inside
March 11, 1889 - Hogwarts

It always surprised Ellsworth how quickly the school year passed. It made it easy to lose track of just how many schools years had passed since he began teaching, something he supposed was both a blessing and a curse depending on how he looked at it. The passing of time aside Ellsworth still loved his job. Today’s task to teach them a bit of practical magic, with a little luck they wouldn’t use it to break any rules.

Good morning.” His voice boomed out jovially once the first and second years had taken their seats. “I believe you are all quite tired of reviewing the basics of a mending spell and as such I thought we might want to move on. So today’s challenge shall be two new.” Ellsworth beamed as if this would the most exciting prospect in the world. “In front of you you will find a lock. Your task is simple, to first lock the lock, then to unlock it. There will be house points at stake so I do hope you listen carefully and work diligently.

Ellsworth drew his wand from the sleeve of his robes and waved at the lock on his desk. “Colloportus.” He cast. The heavy lock in front of him made an audible locking noise. “Alohomora.” The lock unlocked. “Now it is your turn.” With that he set the class to work.

Open to all first and second year students. Please make sure to include if your students is: bad, okay, or good at charms typically. If not it shall be assumed they are okay and no modifier will be included.
The prospect of learning a new spell made Sisse smiled. She enjoyed charms and as such the idea of trying something new seemed like a grand adventure. Perhaps it would help her with her dueling. But no, it seemed to be a spell that wouldn’t quite help her there. It might help her brother get into more mischief though. She glanced over at where Henry sat with his friends. Oh yes, he’d probably get himself into trouble with this one. But no matter it still seemed a handy spell to know.

Looking at the lock before her Sisse followed directions and cast “Colloportus.” As confidently as she could.
