    Gobbledegook, anyone?
    Private Thread
Her head buried in her hands, she gave into a tiny grunt of frustration. And, by tiny, she meant dramatic. This... this... language... if you could even call it that... was driving her mad! Why on earth did the written form have to be symbols? Why did they represent syllable sounds and not individual letters? Who in their right mind would voluntarily set out to torture themselves by learning Chinese?!

    Oh. Right. Her.

Sighing as she lifted her head, her honeyed hair somewhat tousled by the manner with which she was rubbing it across her temple in irritation, she met Zian's gaze dejectedly.

    "I can't do this... I really can't."

Gobbledegook was a literal walk in the park by comparison. Granted, most of the goblin language was just gibberish, but still... far simpler than these hieroglyphs he was attempting to teach her with. She'd asked for his help as a last resort, not wanting to fully admit to herself that she was actually having trouble learning a language of any sort after years of study, but... she was failing. She was failing miserably and Zian was her only hope.
