    She had always been fond of the park - the low hum of birdsong and chatter as people made their way though. Sounds of children's laughter - muted at this time of year, with many away at school or tucked away from winter's incoming chill. She didn't mind that, the chill that was as she did find herself missing the noise. She had simply worn of of her cloaks over her dress, determined to hold out the process of bringing out the winter dresses a little while longer. Contrary to her name, she had never minded the cold, at least only the cold this light.

    She'd come to feed the ducks as she had once a week the past few years. She'd found it a better thing to do with that week's stale bread than toss it in the rubbish. The ducks seemed to like it so she had no qualms of her one peaceful moment of the week that She had all to her self. Summer tended to linger longer than She ought most of the time, finding the moments alone relaxing. She was unaccompanied - a small blessing of the past four years due to spinisterhood.

    She tore each piece off the end of the loaf before she threw it, smiling as she watched the birds scramble, unsatisfied with her pace, each wanting the piece for itself. She glanced up then to the person who had paused nearby. "Would you like some?"

    @Edgar Pomfrey
    Edgar had managed to get out of Hogwarts for the day by offering to chaperon the little troublemakers. While he wasn't trapped at the castle during the whole school year, it sometimes felt like it; as such, he enjoyed his getaways to the nearby village. A group of the younger male students were playing out in the distance with a ball, and Edgar was relaxing on a bench near a woman who was feeding a group of ducks.

    His gaze flickered back and forth between the women and the students, a perpetually-amused smile on his face. The woman—a plain, but not necessarily unattractive woman—then offered him a piece of break, to which he chuckled.

    "To eat? Or to feed to the ducks?" he teased, offering a smile.
