“I was the only first year to make the team last year, after all!” Elijah boasted from his ‘throne’, an armchair near the common room fireplace. With tryouts that week-end, the second year was taking pleasure in giving ‘tips’ to his housemates looking to join the team…many of which amounted to, essentially, being as awesome as Elijah himself. Pride had never been something the boy was short on.

“Lestrange is a fantastic captain,” the boy continued, “and has a great arm with the bat. It’ll be hard work, finding someone good enough to pair up with him! And we’re lucky to be keeping Abney—all the other houses have to replace their seekers, so we should take the cup with ease this year!”

Elijah rather looked up to Kristoffer Lestrange in the way a new sorority girl might: idolize today, overthrow tomorrow. As such, he had little trouble offering praise for his captain and prefect.
Open to Slytherins in years 1-4!

all bow before the glorious mj!
Life had been quite chaotic around the Pavlovich's household, special now that there was a chance the mysterious death of his mamochka former husband death by re-open, although, that would not alarm Allan if it was not for one detail, the wizardry authority was the one investigating the matter, since there were traces of magic on the crime scene. His Papa was sure there was nothing to fear, since the manor had always trace of magic, although, there was one element of the family who refuses to believe that the death were a suicide attempt: his half-brother.

So,on that day as he wonder around the Common Room, he had a quite dreadful expression, as if he was going to be deported to Azakaban. Although, his memories of that December night were obliterated when he notice an upper class member, not much more older than him, boasting about the Quidditch team, for a short fellow he sure had a big ego, most likely compensating for something he lacked, the question was if it was the height the only thing he was short about. "If you are so sure of Slytherin victory, why not spice up things and stablish a gentleman's agreement... Nothing makes a match more thrilling than a little gambling." He said, with a polished pose, yet, his royal blue eyes gazed the boy with a certain defiance.

Halfblood, a mix of a two great Russian families, yet, with quite a few skeletons hidden in the closet.
The boy was younger than him, but taller. This immediately annoyed Elijah, who hoped to one day mirror his father’s stature rather than his mother’s, but had thus far fallen short (pun intended) in this regard. For that reason, the second year found himself emboldened to agree when, under other circumstances, he might find excuses to put it off—but even still, he chose insult rather than acquiescence to start the dialogue.

“You would bet against your own house?” he asked incredulously of the boy. “Where is your sense of pride, of loyalty?”
So sorry for the delay! Life is a thing, and occasionally is inconvenient >.>
