    - Light brunet/dark blond haired, typically combed and parted off center.
    - Ambidextrous for unskilled motions, otherwise left handed for everything else.
    - A fit six foot two inches, the typical aspects of his breeding are presented in other ways.
    - Like a nose that isn’t quite straight through multiple breaks over the years, as well as sullen brows, blue eyes and dimpled chin.
    - Really it’s the kind of face that wants to be punched whenever the mouth opens; a true nod to his heritage.
    - Like his hair he vaguely follows current fashion trends, he favours loudly colored neckwear and velvets if he had a choice but his sister usually won’t let him out unless he’s wearing something more appropriate. He prefers robes at home.

1852-1862 - With the cholera epidemic between 1844 and 1855, their parents abandoned London shortly after his elder brother was conceived in 1852, and in 1855 Rasmus was born in the blissfully calm surrounds of expensive mortar, maids and the lush natural beauty of the Western Isles of Scotland. A few years after a doting hair pulling little sister followed. In 1862 he showed his first signs of magic, (for parents who assumed he was a squib when he didn’t burst out of the womb firing stunning spells it came as a surprise), and shortly after the shock wore off his mother gave birth to his youngest brother.

1866 – He receives his acceptance letter to Hogwart’s, he – with real excitement – waits as his supplies are gathered, receives his wand, and travels with his father; only to be enrolled at Durmstrang.
-- Though not necessarily suffering culture shock, his language skills aren’t as well practiced as they should have been, and he spends the first two years struggling to re-establishing his place in the hierarchy. Gaining proficiency in his classes he discovers dueling as a skill rather than just a defensive measure in his fourth year, and his results and written recommendations are strong enough that he considers finding employment after graduation. (Eventually it occurs to him that as the second son he’s going to need something gainful for his future.)

    The Ministry

1873 – Joins Ministry as a trainee Auror. He struggles in concealment and disguise because his height makes him rather distinguishable, and begins to look into other methods.

1876-1877 – Now a fully-fledged Auror he struggles to divide his time between the social expectations of his family, his work, and furthering his studies into Animagi. Someone in their more Muggle circles starts a rumour that his sister (who is away receiving her seventh year of education) has been absent because she is suffering with the woman’s sickness, the Wickliffe family make sure to parade her over the winter to disprove this – and not long after the culprit, a former family friend, is discovered by his sister and youngest brother and is quite the shut in to this day.

    – He ends up in St. Mungo’s enough times to become very familiar with 1/3 of the beds on the Spell Damage ward. And after nearly five years of dedicated studying his first attempt at transformation is a success, but to his chagrin his animagus form is a wiggling little ferret and embarrassed he chose to keep it a secret.
    - At his family’s request he moves to their London home permanently after magic users are condemned, in hopes that a Wickliffe presence there will help discourage their Muggle counterparts from thinking they are part of that world. Eventually a lot of them don’t even remember magic exists.

1880 – The calm year before the clouds roll in, if he’d known the hell that was soon to pour down between multiple Ministers, murders, plague and escaped convicts he might have quit and become a florist. If it weren’t for the fact that all the blooms would die either in the drought of ’84 or just through unmindfulness.

1881 – In light of the revelation that their own Minister was behind the Muggleborn killings and kidnappings, though not sympathetic towards them he is disappointed in himself as an Auror for the oversight within the Ministry and at the end of 1883, after ten years in the department he retires to work with his family instead.

1887 – Just last week he accepted a position at the Minitry once again, this time as Combative Magic Instructor.

Personality: Scottish. Born in Scotland, raised in Scotland, will die in Scotland. Scotland. Outwardly he is incredibly serious tending towards cynicism. Has a big body with a wee cheeky little soul. He’s also picky, a weasel, inventive, has an aggressive streak, and is ticklish.
