She's named after a Leonard Cohen song, you're not allowed to shorten it. But probably Anne or Sue, because she finds Susie silly-sounding.
Suzanne has always been on the taller side of things. She stands at 5'6'' and she generally looks like she could hold her own in a brawl if need be. Her eyes used to be her favourite part of her appearance; they used to be big and gray and rather striking. Now, her left eyeball is completely white and its surrounding skin looks deadened, as a result of a powerful curse. Other notable appearance mentions are her hair, which is dark brown and her dominant hand, which is her right.
1852 - 1863
Suzanne is born to a lower class family that would probably do better with less children. Out of all of her siblings, she grows closer to Sarah (or Sadie, as she called her), perhaps due to their closeness in age.
1863 - 1868
Suzanne's Hogwarts years see her a member of the Gryffindor house and the Quidditch and dueling clubs. Academically, she's great, but she's still not what you'd call a model student. She likes Quidditch and generally tough activities way too much. She gets her fair share of detentions for getting in fights. That is reason that she's snubbed for the position of prefect, or at least that's what Suzanne liked to believe at the time. Still, she manages to get her OWLs and they're good enough for her to get a Ministry job afterwards.
1868 - 1869
Well, not immediately. Suzanne makes it a goal to become a hit witch, but she can't join the program until she's of age. In her final year as an underage witch, she works as a maid. She sees that job as temporary, so she doesn't try too hard to be good at it.
1870 - 1886
Suzanne manages to secure a job as a hit witch. She may be young, but she's tough and besides, they make it clear that the likes of her are sparable. She doesn't mind at all, though. She likes the racy lifestyle, as well as the pay. She earns more than her siblings, who work boring domestic servant jobs. She thinks herself something of a hero, too. She fantasizes about catching some dangerous wizard and getting promoted to an auror as a reward.
Sadly, her dangerous job comes to bite her in the ass. In 1884, she loses sight in one eye. The embarassing thing is that it didn't even happen on the battlefield. She's cursed after touching an object in a dangerous wizard's house, after she and a colleague were chasing him. She's handsomely compensated - both because she could have died and because she loses her job.
She's too old to easily find a new job. Also, her spunky personality has made many department heads dislike her so she's not even considered as a secretary. After some months of trying, she accepts defeat and starts working as a domestic servant, the very job she used to look down upon.
She's hired as a lady's maid. Her employers overlook her total lack of experience for that job thanks to her background in law enforcement. See, the husband's "ex" was totally a threat to his current wife. He managed to get her disowned and then married someone else, so the Ex was threatening to murder the Wife.
Some "attacks" do occur after Suzanne is hired, but they're more of the 'Wife gets sent a bag full of dead rats' sort. In the end, the Ex gets caught after setting the house on fire and she's sent to Azkaban because she has no family to pay for an asylum. The Wife no longer has a reason to keep an inexperienced lady's maid around, so she quietly fires Suzanne (rude). She gives her a good recomendation note, though, and Suzanne soon finds work as an old lady's maid - a lady so old that she couldn't care less about her personal servant.
In the winter of 1886, the lady dies of old age. She was the really sweet sort, so she leaves a great impression of Suzanne to her children. Sadly, none of them need additional servants, but through one of the daughters she finds a new employer - Glory Dawlish. She's a nice lady who, according to her housekeeper, could use a lady's maid with knowledge in combative magic.
Smart and practical. Proud. Can get really big-headed. Has something of a hero complex. Can be obnoxious. Not the greatest team player.
