MISS PENDERGAST RETURNS
INVESTIGATION CLOSES AFTER SUDDEN RETURN
Miss Ellory Pendergast, who disappeared from the Irvingly Casino tennis courts on the afternoon of 31 March, reportedly arrived back at her Wellingtonshire home yesterday morning, much to her family's relief.
The auror's office relayed that Miss Pendergast had come to no physical or psychological harm during her absence, and that their investigation into her disappearance was now closed, though they declined to go into any detail about the nature of her vanishment, nor the method of her abrupt return.
It was noted that they were not pursuing any suspects, for kidnapping or any other charge, which would imply that perhaps her latest 'kidnapping' was a misunderstanding--notably, she returned home the very morning after her disappearance was widely reported.
While speculation runs rampant about where Miss Pendergast might have been for four entire days, the family remained cloistered and requested privacy, meaning that such details are not likely to become widely known.
