    Padmore Picnic

On April 7th, come down to Padmore Park and pick your blanket, which comes with a basket full of goodies! Except for one in five baskets which instead has a particularly aggressive gnome hiding inside instead, but free food is free food. Take in various lawn games, including croquet, badminton, and lawn bowling, and enjoy music from a string quartet magically amplified throughout the park.

    What: A Lovely Birthday Ball
Who: For Guinevere's youngest child, and only child at home. Invitation out to all families and children, class doesn't matter as long as no one upsets the birthday girl.
Where: The Lukeson Estate, first floor only (a.k.a. London)
Why: To celebrate the birthday of @Sybille Lukeson, to which will be fancy and extravagant, as Guinevere loves to pamper her children.
    When: April 6th.
Forum: I would have loved one, but it's too late now, oops. So no.

    What: Morzolla presentation ball
Who: Mostly Italian society, though eligible bachelors (and other society types, of course) of the British Isles in good standing (4 and 5 only) will be extended invitations
Where: The Estate of Fiorenziano Morzolla the First
Why: There's one every year for the Morzolla family's newly-eligible daughters and newly-established-as-marriage-material sons.
    When: April 9
Forum: Not unless there's an influx of Italians in the next week ;)

    What: Renaissance Costume Spring Ball
Who: Hosted by Ryder and Guinevere Lukeson. ACAB but no muggles are invited (Guinevere Lukeson is a very welcoming person), 17+ requested (party crashers under the age limit can add to more thread drama), the hostess requests that all who attend do dress for the theme.
Where: The Lukeson Estate, first floor only (a.k.a. London)
Why: Celebrating spring, and to have a chance to have some fun with costumes.
    When: April 21st
    Forum: No

To fit the theme of the party, the majority of the house has been spelled to look like the insides of a castle. The rooms on the first floor have been enchanted to be bigger than normal like a TARDIS, it's bigger on the inside, as to allow for more guests to come in. Unlike the rest of the party, the food is modern, and some is even exotic. Charmed images of dragons can be seen flying around near the ceiling, though they are not truly there.

    What: Ursula Black's 30th Birthday
Who: Hosted by @Josephina Flint for all respectable (4+ rep) upper class purebloods, halfbloods acceptable but must conform to the blood purist atmosphere. Middle class respectable purebloods also acceptable.
No squibs, no muggles, no mudbloods, no lower class, no children.
Where: The Flint residence in Wellingtonshire, Hogsmeade
    Why: The big 3-0.
    When: April 26th
    Forum: Yes. Please.

It's an 18th century costume ball, everyone is expected to wear clothing appropriate to that era. Featuring a hall of mirrors, extravagant fireworks, fancy golden lawn sculptures, a specially composed opera, a ceiling-high tiered birthday cake featuring dancing decorations that bare an uncanny resemblance to the guests. Also a trained unicorn that pulls a tiny ornate champagne carriage where guests may acquire a glass of champagne or refill from the champagne fountain.

Think ornate. Think palatial. Think Versailles.

What: Epic Poetry Battles Of History
Who: Hipsters, intellectuals, people who'd shop at Tomess & Scrolls. Any reputation. Elmer wouldn't be too happy about ex convict vampires coming but it's not an event with invitations so he can't do nothing about it. xD
    Where: Tomes & Scrolls
    Why: Poetry.
    When: April 29th
    Forum: Nah

Tomes & Scrolls is hosting a poetry competition. You have to pay a small fee to participate and the prize is some book they can spare. Basically Tomes & Scrolls needs funds and more customers. xD
