    FEBRUARY WRITING CHALLENGE

Happy love month... or not! This month has a bit of a twist! Vinegar Valentine's cards were totally a thing in the Victorian Era and on St. Valentine's day this year they're being sent out anonymously! A Vinegar Valentine is the counter to normally syrupy sweet Valentine's sentiments. They were often insulting and made fun of everything from appearance to intelligence. They could also be insinuating of lewdness or ~amorous activities. More info here!

Needless to say, receiving one would be highly shocking to a reputable witch or wizard and amusing to those with less morals! This month's challenge is to receive one of the Vinegar Valentines in public and react! Does your proper lady faint? Does your gentleman laugh a little too hard? Are they completely aghast or totally amused? Up to you, but it's more fun with somebody else around!

    Challenge Rules
    • Read onlys will not be accepted this month. It should be a thread with another player, open or pre-discussed are both fine!
    • The thread must be completed within the month of February in order to receive the stamp.
    • Both participants do not have to be going for the stamp, but if you are it must say so in your first post.
    • Post here with the thread/post URLs in order to receive credit for completing the challenge.
