The front door closed sharply in his face effectively ending the bizarre conversation he'd just been trudging through.  The door knob swung forward and back against the door adding another note of finality.  That was definitely his door knocker.  Not that door knockers were especially remarkable.  But there was no doubt in his mind that that was his door knocker, on his door, to his house.  And yet some stranger had answered the door, been entirely affronted and unreasonable, and locked him out.

He gave the door one more quizzical look before turning to give the front garden a quizzical look.  He was not unaware of his absentmindedness but it was a bit extreme to be loosing his house at his age.  And besides this was absolutely his front garden.  He glanced around almost instinctively to see if any one was watching.  As if this was some sort of joke.

Utterly at a loss he was left with no other option than to approach and ask a woman, seemingly out for a stroll  She didn't look familiar but then again he'd never been very good at keeping social with the neighbors.  "Please excuse me, I know this is strange but... I'm almost entirely sure that that is my house and yet the people inside insist it is not."

With the Minister finally back from his state in limbo, Rhona felt she could relax a little more. Even when she hadn't been at work, she'd paced her family's home wringing her hands trying to figure out just what exactly could have happened to the man and all of those other people. But now he was back and she felt as though her life could revert back to its normalcy. That meant taking an early evening stroll with Fiona. She was nursing a bandaged finger that night though as the lime green fwooper was apparently quite cross with her for not having taken her out for said stroll in several weeks.

Now that the pair were outside, however, Fiona was more than content perched on Rhona's shoulder and sporadically fluffing up her feathers. She'd just barely relaxed the bright green plumage when the gentleman approached and asked Rhona his question, causing Fiona to puff up instantly to appear larger than she was. "Oh stop you silly thing," Rhona muttered to the bird to no avail before turning to the gentleman and offering a smile, "Nevermind this sill thing. She thinks everyone is a threat to us."

"I do believe that's the Smiths home," she said simply, glancing at the house in question, "They've lived there a couple years now. They moved in not long before we moved into ours." She pointed to one just a few houses down in the direction she'd been walking to indicate her own home. "Are you sure you're on the right street?" she asked, still smiling pleasantly at him.
