Queen Victoria was known for putting jackets and dresses on her pups, causing clothing for dogs to become so popular that fashion houses for just dog clothes started popping up all over Paris. — Fox
It would be easy to assume that Evangeline came to the Lady Morgana only to pick fights. That wasn't true at all. They also had very good biscuits.

Women's Periodical Witch Weekly Nearly Burns Itself Down During Celebration

The well-known women's magazine Witch Weekly nearly suffered catastrophe this week after an incident at an all-staff celebration. The periodical was celebrating the magazine's two-hundredth issue at their High Street headquarters building in Hogsmeade when the fireworks procured for the event went off prematurely, showering the inside of the building in sparks.

On-call officials from the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes arrived at the scene to control the incident before it became a large fire. Some damage occurred before they were able to arrive, in part due to the late hour of the event, but Ministry officials did not comment on how much. Several junior reporters were transported to the Hogsmeade hospital with wounds of varying degrees, though all are expected to make a full recovery.

The small fire which took place inside the building did take several hours to douse, due to the 'exotic' type of firework used for the celebration. A Ministry official on-site commented that he was unsure whether such fireworks were legal — particularly in the center of Hogsmeade, which was ravaged by a fire just years ago causing many to lose their lives or their homes — but that the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes would be making a full report on the incident.

Witch Weekly's editor-in-chief, Yente Ventus, was unavailable for comment at the time of the incident, amidst some rumors that she may have been intoxicated or otherwise incapacitated at the crucial moment. It is unclear at this point who was responsible for procuring the potentially illegal and dangerous fireworks.

Names of the affected personnel have not been released by the hospital.

Argus Scrimgeour Dead
Convicted Former Auror Perishes in Asylum

Former auror and convinced felon Argus Scrimgeour, 64, perished on the evening of October 13th while serving his asylum sentence, his family has revealed. The coroner's office has not yet revealed information regarding his cause of death, but the lack of law enforcement involvement has led to speculation that natural causes were responsible.

The Scrimgeour patriarch leaves behind his wife, a son, and twin daughters — one of which is estranged from his family. His widow, Mrs. Media Scrimgeour, could not be reached for comment.
