    Appearance:
Soft, pale hazel eyes are what stare out of Evie's pale, rather innocent face. Blonde hair cascades down to her mid-back - usually a few strands here and there escape from her up-dos and suit to frame her face. Evie stands at 5 foot and has soft curves with slightly wider hips than normal. She is right handed and often wears soft pastel colors to compliment her skin tone and bring out her eyes.

    History:
1863 | William Chamberlain, a law professor at the University of London and his wife Rosalind learn they are expecting their first child.

1864 | Rosalind gives birth to not one, but two healthy baby girls. She and William decide to name them Alice and Honora. A year later, Rosalind learns she's expecting again.

1867 | Genevieve is born on a warm summer's day. Rosalind is left very weak – the Chamberlains decide Evie would be the last of the children they have.

1869 | As soon as Evie learns to walk, she's running and likes helping the maids in the garden. She takes a liking to sunflowers and demands them in her room.

1873 | Genevieve starts schooling along with the other neighborhood girls. The chosen tutor is Evie's aunt, Ariadne. Ariadne quickly finds that Evie progresses quicker than most students, though the girl is unsure of expressing her opinions.

1876 | Evie finds she has a penchant for drawing. Aunt Ariadne gifts her a sketch pad and pencils for her birthday. The girl's first drawing is of a small butterfly she saw fluttering about their lawn. She soon becomes fascinated by paints and colors of the world around her. Her father buys her an easel and paint set, and painting in the yard quickly becomes the small girl's passion. Aunt Ariadne coaches her in her paintings.

1879 | Evie's mother becomes pregnant, yet the babe is quickly miscarried. In hopes of comforting her heartbroken mother, Evie draws her mother a bouquet of sunflowers (along with bringing her real ones).

1881 | Evie's father gets promoted to head of faculty at the University in London, and the Chamberlains move residencies to a slightly nice house a few neighborhoods away. Both Alice and Honora get married – Honora marries up into upper class. Evie continues her education given to her by her mother. She quickly picks up French and Italian as a second language.

1883 | Honora gives birth to two twins, and names them Lillian and Alexander.

1884 | Alice gives birth to a baby girl named Temperance, after the girl's grandmother. William and Rosalind gift a King Charles Cavalier puppy to their youngest, who names it Marigold.

1885 | William and Rosalind start wondering if they should arrange a marriage for their youngest daughter.

    Personality:
A GENTLE SOUL | Evie was born with an enormous capacity for kindness and humility. She never screamed or yelled (though that's not to say she didn't fight with her sisters) despite her family doting on her. When her sisters argued with each other, Evie was often the one to sit between them and mediate the argument.

AN ARTIST | From the time she was little, Evie enjoyed being in the family's back yard, hiding behind the tall sunflowers. She was often found nestled (sans blanket) in the flowerbeds, sketching until the sun went down. Her favorite things to sketch were the simpler things found in the garden – flowers, petals, blades of grass, and small bugs.

THE ADVENTUROUS ONE | One thing Evie hates is sitting down and doing nothing all day. She'll read for a while if she needs to study, but above all, Evie likes to travel around London with her Aunt Ariadne, whom she sees as a second mother and confidant. The two often spend a lot of time in the galleries and observing the architecture of London. She's in the process of trying to convince her aunt to take her to Paris for a few days, though Ariadne is unsure about it.
