I have recently been invited to help host the Aphrodite Ball on August 30th at The Destiny Hotel in London, and would be most delighted if you would accept these tickets as an invitation to join me there. There will be a cocktail reception, dinner party, and then a full-on ball that will be attended by those in the upper echelons of society.

As the name suggests, the theme will be romance (which is appropriate, given that my co-host is none other than Miss Inès Valentine, famed matchmaker from Morocco)!

Oh Dolly! That is so very exciting for you! I would love to accompany you as, you well know, I've yet to even really dip my toes into the British social scene! The fog made it quite hard to really get integrated back into things around her after we returned.

On that note, however, I'll need to check with my father and be sure my work schedule can accommodate it. I'm sure it should be fine though!

How wonderful, what a way to dive right back in after the fog! I would love to join you, I could seriously use a fun, frivolous evening of dancing and drinks.
