Once Group D steps inside and the front doors swing shut behind them, they will find themselves in a limestone concrete structure with etchings on the wall around them.

Time passes strangely in here.

There are three directional options: left, right, straight. The leftward path goes upwards, the rightward path goes downwards, and straight continues at level.

Any luck Asha had been feeling vanished with the solid thunk of the door behind them. The inside didn't look anything like Asha had expected, even from a small town casino. "Shall we start clockwise then?" He started to the left.

There was something much, much worse about the hollowness in here. Tybalt rather thought he'd have been less afraid if something had come charging out to meet them, but as it was - all there was was silence, and strange symbols, and yawning tunnels.

Tybalt twirled his bat uncomfortably in his hand, as his lone companion chose a path to take. Arbitrary, but then, who was Tyb to argue? He hadn't the faintest idea what any of this meant. "Up we go," he agreed, feeling the incline almost immediately. At least all that quidditch had ensured he wasn't scared of heights?

They climbed upward for what seemed like a while, Asha grateful the fog hadnt seeped into whatever this place was. They had just come to another spilt in the road when a rumbling started. Asha looked up and saw a boulder rolling right for them. "Fuck!" He grabbed the quidditch player's arm, dodging into the right corridor without even thinking.

Tybalt only had a split-second to be dismayed by the second lot of diverging paths - as decent as he was with directions usually, he had the uncanny sensation here that they were going to end up totally, completely, hopelessly lost in here, wandering around for all eternity - before the universe was rocked by a rolling boulder.

"Jesus Christ," Tybalt said, nearly losing grip on his beater's bat as Bilton dragged him towards the level path - which, he supposed, had been their only option, with the boulder coming one way and sure to flatten them to pancakes if they turned tail back towards the entrance. He'd dived out of the way after the man with such aplomb that he lost his footing entirely, though, and found himself splayed on the floor, his limbs (still tender from the faded boils) grazed and smarting from contact with the stone.

Propping himself up with his hands, he glanced over his shoulder in haste to make certain that the boulder had continued rolling downwards - and that nothing else was coming for them.

Bilton and Kirke both manage to avoid the boulder, which continues downwards, bouncing off the limestone floor. They're still collapsed in the hallway when - somehow? - doors open and they find themselves faced with two members of another group.

Which is, you know, strange, seeing as Kirke and Bilton should be nowhere near the door.
