Did you know?

First names were most often used by childhood or school friends. If the friendship was made after school age, first names would only really be used by women. Men were far more likely to refer to their friends by their surnames, a mark of familiarity. — Documentation

Emilia Wright for Jude Wright. Casually alienating offspring since 18882.
Separating was also not a great idea, though they weren't doing great at staying together anyway. If she were to volunteer to be the human sacrifice.. well... Hogsmeade had plenty of debutantes anyway...

What an idiot, Timothy though to himself as one of their number was turned into a cat. Well, at least he was no longer able to speak. That was a bonus.

Theo watched with vaguely horrified curiosity as Tilcott dove right in to the cat jar. In the blink of an eye he was no longer staring at a man but a cat. A Tom cat. At least he hadn't been set on by a horde of scarab beetles or some such, seeing as things were really starting to have a very Egyptian feel to them. If it really came down to having to touch the remaining jars Theo decided he'd take the dog over the owl. "I have a knife, I could use it to remove one of the other lids without touching it with my bare hands." He wasn't entirely confident that was a viable loophole to becoming an animal but if Umbridge thought it sounded like a good idea he was prepared to do so.

Conall's laugh echoed off the limestone walls at the sight of the man (possibly the most obnoxious of the group) turned to a cat. Good. Maybe he'd say fewer stupid things.

From a safe distance, Conall peered at the organs stuffed in the first - canopic, had the boy said? - jar, and raised an eyebrow at the pup who wanted to look in the others. "I say we toss the cat in his jar, and be on our way," Conall said, deadpan, jerking his head down the hallway. He'd never have done such a thing, particularly not to a real cat. But they didn't need to know; and the rules need not apply to brainless idiots. (He almost hoped Auror Pup would touch the dog jar, now.)

Elsewhere in the building, something happens. It is as if a quake hits the pyramid, which trembles, and then the limestone walls of the pyramid fade into the wallpapered walls of the casino's billiards floor.

Outside, the fog is vanishing. The group may hear the front doors opening as Ministry officials in MA&C robes rush the building.

When they are brought into the Ministry for their statements, Group C will find that nearly a month has passed since they entered the casino.
