Did you know?

Fern-hunting parties became popular, allowing young women to get outside in a seemingly innocuous pursuit with less rigid oversight and chaperoning than they saw in parlors and drawing rooms. They may have even had the occasional romantic meetup with a similarly fern-impassioned beau. — Bree

Bunny Devon for Anne Devon. My fair lady of the night
Separating was also not a great idea, though they weren't doing great at staying together anyway. If she were to volunteer to be the human sacrifice.. well... Hogsmeade had plenty of debutantes anyway...

Early afternoon, June 22th, 1888 — Fudge & Son Desserterie

Mozelle sat in the sweet shop, chaperone at the table, with clipped articles from various recent editions of the Daily Prophet spread in a line upon the table. Articles concerning this magic-stifling fog. Below the line of articles lay a small stack of parchment, her favorite quill, a bottle of black ink, and a small baked treat. Carefully, Mozelle traced along the words of the articles, as if trying to find something.

"It started in Irvingly," she murmured, "then moved on Hogsmeade." Shaking her head, Mozelle lifted the treat from its little plate and took a small bite, before lifting her quill and dipping it in the ink, to write on the top of the first sheet of parchment, Irvingly to Hogsmeade. "There has to be something...anything. I hope it doesn't reach Hogwarts; that would be a nightmare, indeed, even though we've only just begun the summer holiday."

Then something caught her eye in the articles. "A dusty smell..."
