    Toussaint Favreau
    In Character
    Full Name: Toussaint Constantin Favreau
Nicknames: None that he will answer to unless drunk Toussaint L’overture
    Birthdate: 10th January 1863
    Current Age: 21
Occupation: Improper use of Magic Investigator
    Hogwarts House: Gryffindor
Wand: Rowan, 10 1/2", unyielding, sphinx
    Blood Status: Pureblood
    Social Class: Upperclass
    • Rainier Favreau | Father
Toussaint doesn’t think much of his father, him being too caught up in his dragon obsession to be a proper father figure and patriarch like he thinks men should. He also finds his eccentricities frankly mortifying.

    • Olivie Favreau née Chevalier | Mother
Completely overbearing, in Toussaint’s mind. He is grateful that she (not being stupid enough to think that Rainier would have anything to actually do with people rather than giant, firebreathing lizards) didn’t arrange their marriages and can tolerate her some of the time due to her obsession with propriety.

    • Sibylle de Lisle nee Favreau | Sister
Dramatic, silly and rather inconsequential, he has never been particularly fond of his elder sister. She might have been more bearable if her husband had sorted her out, but evidently not. She doesn’t even have the propriety of their mother to endear her a little to him.

    • Marius Favreau | Brother
Marius is probably the sibling Toussaint is closest to (which isn’t saying much) but that only really applies when they’re both drunk. The rest of the time he is determined never to forget that it is Marius’ fault that he’s not a firstborn son and heir. He also thinks Marius needs a haircut.

    • Adrien Favreau | Brother
Being a third son, Toussaint might have been able to bond with Adrien over their bad luck- or at least pity him, had his younger brother not been the reason he is a middle child and a completely hopeless romantic, which Toussaint most certainly isn’t.

    • Gwendoline Favreau | Daughter
Gwen is rather quiet which is to Toussaint’s tastes, and is generally the sibling he finds most bearable even though he’s convinced he didn’t need yet another younger sibling. He doesn’t, however, approve of her being allowed to wander around the countryside generally unchaperoned and thinks his parents are remarkably lax in often not noticing her absence.

At 5’10” Toussaint is rather satisfyingly an inch taller than Marius and likes to think he is the best-looking of the three brothers, not having Marius’s frankly embarrassing curls and his hair being a colour that is just on the edge of what can be described as dark blonde. He is slightly on the scrawny side though his frame is beginning to fill out now he’s no longer a teenager, and is right handed. Toussaint has dark eyes and favours classic and refined cuts for his clothes, not bothering with the dandyish fashions his brother seems to enjoy and is never seen wearing anything that isn’t perfectly tailored or pristine (unless hes been drinking). When smiling he has a rather warm expression however his face is nearly always settled into a frown when sober.

    • 1863| Toussaint is born and Marius shows his first sign of magic, something Toussaint still interprets as him not coping well with, heavens forbid, someone else being the centre of attention.

    • 1865| The family move to wales something the toddling Toussaint for once doesn’t have an opinion on (for the time being at least) beyond the fact that there are more sheep and a lot more rain. Adrien is born though he doesn’t really notice till they begin to have to share the nursery when he gets very annoyed with the new arrival for crying when he’s trying to sleep.

    • 1867| Just in time to begin lessons with a governess, Toussaint shows his magic and in a much less inconsiderate way than his silly brother, cleaning his book of letters when he spills an ink bottle over it.

    • 1868| Gwendoline is born and thankfully is quieter, and he doesn’t have to share a room with her. Thats about as far as his thoughts towards her go for much of her childhood.

    • 1869| Sibylle goes off to Hogwarts but not without making a fuss over wanting to go to Beauxbatons instead. Toussaint concurs, though he’d also be happy to ship her off to Norway or Australia or the South Pole.

    • 1871| Marius goes off to Hogwarts too and Toussaint relishes in being the oldest child in the house for much of the year.

    • 1873| Toussaint goes off to Hogwarts and is sorted into Gryffindor for his strong conviction in what he thinks is right. Plus lions are obviously better than snakes.

    • 1875| Third year, and he picks Arithmancy and Earth magic for his electives thinking both sound like good, practical and solid options. He’s rather thrown when he realises the latter involves poncing around with birthstones, but refuses to admit that he doesn’t enjoy it or that it wasn’t intentional.

    • 1877| On Valentines day, Toussaint catches two younger students in a compromising situation in a supplies cupboard and despite their protestations (once he has recovered his composure, of course) reports them. His resolve in following the rules is only strengthened that summer when he receives his prefect badge and a set of largely outstanding results. Take that, Marius. He continues DADA, Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, Herbology and Arithmancy to his NEWTs.

    • 1878| Marius leaves Hogwarts (finally!) and true to form takes a while to decide what he’s actually going to have to do with himself.

    • 1879| Toussaint becomes head boy and is generally very smug with himself, even more so when Sibylle marries a respectable man (one sibling down!) and Gwendoline joins him at Hogwarts though thankfully at a large enough distance that he gets away with not particularly even remembering she’s there.

    • 1880| He finishes Hogwarts with an equally shiny set of results as in his OWLs and begins an internship with the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Toussaint occasionally goes out drinking with Marius but only when he can’t think of a decent excuse or wants to escape their mother, and also (after finding one of his Father’s misplaced dragon figurines anatomical models and asking him nicely- after all, he’s the only son who’s got head boy so far!) joins Blacks with his Father agreeing to pay most of his dues.

    • 1881| Toussaint finishes his internship and begins working in the Improper Use of Magic Office as an investigator. He quite likes getting to root out trouble which really negates the disadvantage of being in the same department as Marius. Besides, he gets to actually find and investigate the trouble whereas Marius is just there to wipe people’s memory. Its obvious who’s better.

    • 1882| His mother’s deceased cousin’s wife is outed as a veela. Toussaint is mortified and never mentions it. Ever.

    • 1883| With still no sign of Marius moving out and his father covering his club fees, Toussaint moves into rooms at Black’s. Which has nothing to do with Adrien finishing Hogwarts a month or so later. Nope. Though his romanticness is frankly nauseating.

    • 1884| Marius copies him moves out, thankfully not to Black’s but to a home in London. When the quarantine comes into effect Toussaint is unable to go into Hogsmeade which doesn’t annoy him until he realises that if he had been in, then he would have been able to avoid his family.
As a child, Toussaint was a governess’ dream. He was quick to learn, obedient, perfectly mannered and followed the rules, though the praise this brought him quickly turned sour and he is still to this day over zealous in his belief in propriety and respectability. His childhood desire to be better than his brother is still also evident, though he stops short of throwing tantrums any more, and has a slightly inflated sense of self-importance. He is a firm believer in methods and not deviating from what works, and is in many senses a perfect employee, thriving on deadlines and getting things done and sorted. The only issue is that he can be almost aggressive over getting things right and is convinced everyone is interested in things he finds interesting and if forced to attend a family dinner will happily prattle on about how he caught a repeat offender the other week for hours until he gets plied with alcohol. Toussaint also had little tolerance for said alcohol, and is almost a complete opposite of himself when drunk. The morning after is normally the only time he wishes he was closer to Marius so could get him to wipe people’s memories of drunk!him.
