Did you know?

The Language of the Flowers was a popular method to express feelings where words might be improper, but did you know other means of doing so? Some ladies used their parasols, as well as their fans, gloves, and hankies to flirt with a gentleman (or alternatively, tell them to shove it!). — Bree

This boy, then. He wasn't new. Wasn't one of the worst people in the common room, those rotten rich boys - like Mr. Jailkeeper - who could not fathom a world beyond their own farts. Was a good working class lad, so he'd heard. Had a bit of a weird looking face, and a bit of a weird thing for preaching. Still.

See Into the Heart!
Acclaimed Matchmaker Spotted in Irvingly

Lovelorn ladies and baffled bachelors rejoice: romance may be in the cards for you! This reporter has been alerted to the presence of a seer specializing in matchmaking in the small, rural village of Irvingly!

Miss Inès Valentine, a Moroccan import, is well known in her home country—as well as in Spain, Portugal, and France—for her skill at finding her clients The One. French magazine La Sorcière describes the aptly name witch as a "prophetic matchmaker", with an "uncanny ability to predict the romantic lives of those around her". Numerous witches and wizards alike have cited Miss Valentine as the "source of all their happy endings".

Reportedly, Miss Valentine favours crystal balls and tarot cards as her medium of choice, but has displayed the gift of True Prophecy and has used other tools in a pinch. One wonders if her gifts have accompanied her to our fair nation—and what that could mean for the unmarried and insecure in our communities!

The reason for Miss Valentine's presence in Irvingly is unknown. Those with further information are, as always, encouraged to contact our offices.
