Brother and sister plummet to death!

Hogsmeade Siblings Reportedly "Fell from the sky"

Shock and horror hit Hogsmeade's High Street yesterday as Mr. Richard Long (22, of Bartonburg) and his sister Miss Fanny Long (18, of Bartonburg) reportedly "fell from the sky" to their deaths just after noon just outside of Whizzard Books.

The initial investigation reports no broomsticks were involved, though witnesses present were too shocked to provide much other detail.

Anyone with any information or leads in the matter, however inconsequential they might seen, is asked to owl the Auror Office with greatest haste.

"Honk if you're in trouble!"

GIANT GOOSE TERRORIZES PARK

Those promenading through Padmore Park on Sunday likely still have their feathers ruffled after a giant goose began terrorizing the area nearest the pond. Several parties were injured by the bird, though no injuries were classed as 'severe', and no deaths have been reported.

This fowl act was committed by Mr. Ryan Gosling, currently in custody at the Hogsemeade Constabulary and charged with cases of general nuisance and property damage. Mr. Gosling (36, of Wellingtonshire) also could be pressed in civil court due to injuries caused by the bird, approximately ten and a half feet in height, as it conducted its rampage.

The chaos reigned for just under an hour before the goose returned to its usual size; the beast has also been taken into custody for assessment. Eggcallent police work on the part of the local constabulary found the perpetrator swiftly, and all injured parties were delivered to the Hogsmeade Hospital for assessment and treatment.

Mr. Gosling is expected to go to trial later this month.
