Did you know?

First names were most often used by childhood or school friends. If the friendship was made after school age, first names would only really be used by women. Men were far more likely to refer to their friends by their surnames, a mark of familiarity. — Documentation

WANTED:

Emilia Wright for Jude Wright. Casually alienating offspring since 18882.
Separating was also not a great idea, though they weren't doing great at staying together anyway. If she were to volunteer to be the human sacrifice.. well... Hogsmeade had plenty of debutantes anyway...

Magical Trades?

What are examples of "magical trades" (whether in HP canon or something you can think of~) beyond wand-making, broom-making, and metal-charming? I need a magical trade for a character and idk if I'm into any of those three!

Any muggle trade that can be made cooler via magic — toymaking, brewing, cauldron smithing, masonry, etc.

I've always kind of headcanoned that you can hire professional illusionists for short term jobs or events. Like for one of "Armando's" parties there were illusory dragons flying around, and Ophelia def hired that out because she didn't even get an OWL in Charms :P

Also any magical item you can think of would need to be created and maintained by a magical craftsman, so "pensieve peddler" could totally be a trade. Or anything else you can think of.

is it a crime to love too well?
To bear too tender, or too firm a heart, to act a lover's or a Roman's part?
Is there no bright reversion in the sky, for those who greatly think, or bravely die?

I wonder if they have an equivalent to the Guild of Master Craftsmen actually? Slightly off-topic but it would be interesting, and a good alternative for WC kids who can't afford Hogwarts, to become apprentices to masters and it's good networking!
