Woopy's laughter came to a complete stop the moment the girl said about Hogwarts staff. Oh no. Woopy couldn't get into trouble! He was just having fun and now he was going to be reprimanded for it. And that was completely unacceptable.
As the girl started to walk off, Woopy snapped his fingers and ended the charm. As much as he would have liked to continue with whatever it was he was doing, Woopy had to stop. He couldn't get into trouble for this.
At the very least, he could take some form of victory in that if she didn't notice the charm was no longer on her, she'd have looked a fool.
Woopy turned back around and continued dusting - this time making sure he was invisible. He murmured to himself as the girl left the library; "Woopy not stupid. Witch is stupid."
