Shooting back the rest of her whiskey, Tal tossed a couple of coins onto the counter, enough to cover both her drink and Kieran's, and slid from her bar stool. This little endeavor had done little to sooth her nerves, more like rattle them enough to take it out on Kieran. She best be on her way.
