This was definitely not how she thought tonight was going to go. She'd anticipated lots of yelling, some crying, probably a little pleading, but she had not expected easy apologies and serious questions. Certainly not a genuine proposal, thought she was thrilled with the turn of events.

It was all almost too easy. Febby knew she'd learned her lesson and would not be making any of these mistakes again; she sincerely hoped the proposal meant he would do the same. Regardless, she had decided they could work through anything they needed to as long as they stayed committed to each other. There were a lot of logistics they needed to work out, but they could save that for later.

Febs slid her arms around his neck, smiling against his lips as she moved with him toward the bed. Though she didn't know exactly where this was headed, and considering they shouldn't be too reckless, the reality of it was she was unlikely to be the one to stop.
