Did You Know?
Queen Victoria was known for putting jackets and dresses on her pups, causing clothing for dogs to become so popular that fashion houses for just dog clothes started popping up all over Paris. — Fox
It would be easy to assume that Evangeline came to the Lady Morgana only to pick fights. That wasn't true at all. They also had very good biscuits.

Woman Savaged By Gnomes
Attack Unprecedented

Hawthorne Hollow, Irvingly, is not a location one would expect to harbor dangerous creatures, magical or otherwise. Certainly, Miss Temperance Fairchild of Irvingly Infirmary could not have anticipated the misfortune that befell her yesterday afternoon. While taking a harmless stroll, Miss Fairchild was suddenly set upon by a gaggle of gnomes.

Those who are familiar with garden gnomes will recognize this as abnormal behavior for creatures who are usually harmless unless interfered with and decidedly incapable of organizing themselves. The only time gnomes are known to cause harm to humans is during a de-gnoming where a gnome may nip if given the opportunity. One could understand a gnome biting in such a situation where they may feel threatened, after all they are naturally shy and avoid humans where possible. This makes the events of yesterday afternoon all the more peculiar.

While Miss Fairchild was walking, this boisterous group of gnomes ambushed her in a most alarming and unexpected manner. Miss Fairchild sustained numerous wounds from the gnomes who bit and mauled her in their frenzied attack before she was able to escape. Miss Miriam Trelawney witnessed the attack firsthand and had this to say: "It's unusual for gnomes to be so aggressive, but luckily this is what the infirmary is for." Miss Fairchild was indeed admitted to Irvingly Infirmary where she happens to be employed as a nurse and is expected to make a complete recovery.

Unfortunately, the gnomes responsible fled before they could be captured and dealt with. Visitors to the Hawthorne Hollow area are urged to proceed with caution, though it is likely this was an isolated incident.
