Dearest Dolly,

School has begun again. it's the start of my seventh year and it feels like my first all over again! I will be a part of the Coming Out ball at the end of this year and I am quite excited. I cannot believe that my time at Hogwarts is almost over. What was the ball like for you? Was it terribly exciting? What did your dress look like?

Simply yours,
Lyddie

Dearest Lydia,

Please be mindful of your schoolwork, but do not stress too much over it this year, for there is nothing attractive about forehead lines on a girl of eighteen! The Coming Out Ball is like a dream to a new debutante, but you will soon realize that more extravagant events lie in the future. I obviously did not secure my own husband there, so do remember not to measure your future success by one single night! And do not fret - if you cannot secure a husband during the first season, I'm sure my dear Inès will be able to assist you!

With love,
Dolly

Dearest Dolly,

Believe me, nothing is worth the forehead wrinkles. Not the Coming Out Ball, not my NEWTs, nothing. I do have to admit, I did not think about even more extravagant proceedings than the Coming Out Ball. I suppose when one is still in school, you should think more about school and that Ball than the ones afterwards. Needn't stress out too terribly much. How is Gabriel? Is he doing well?

Simply yours,
Lyddie

Dearest Lydia,

Well I'm glad you've managed to come to the conclusion with a bit of encouragement. Gabriel has been well; he's been much less restless since resuming work at the Ministry. I love my husband dearly, but being locked up in a house with anyone for more than a month is bound to create tension that has no business being there!

With love,
Dolly

Dearest Dolly,

I'm glad to hear that Gabriel is doing well. Now that he is back working, what have you been doing? Have you had any adventures worth hearing about? I know it's not what society wants upcoming debutantes to know about, but I know you had fun in Morocco where you met Gabriel. One can't just come home and stop all the adventure outright. How is Ines? Is she well?

Simply yours,
Lyddie
