What: Roberto Devine's Birthday Ball
Who: Ophelia to host; UC/bougie MC with reps 7+ invited; invitations will go out to everyone but only those outside Hogsmeade/Irvingly will actually be able to attend.
Where: The Devine Estate, Ireland
Why: They were sort of busy fleeing Hogsmeade on his actual birthday so this is a month late SHHHHHH. Ophelia had one planned in Hogsmeade already when they left, so you all got Invitations To That, then Frantic Retractions, then eventually Actual Invites. xD
When: 20 July, 1888

Roberto's birthday is actually June 20th, but the party planned in the Hogsmeade Ballroom had to be canceled when the fog rolled in and the Devines left town. The replacement ball is no less grand but does have something of a hurried air about it, since it was planned entirely in a month and with half the magical community cut off from being able to provide services for it. Decorations are vaguely Kestral themed (color-wise). A flock of songbirds magically painted to match the decor have been left loose around the ballroom, and will give off some delightful birdsong as well as probably pooping on a few very expensive dresses.

What: Thom Pettigrew's Birthday Dinner / Weekend Hunting Party
Who: UC friends of Thom or Hannah, rep 6+
Where: Pettigrew Estate, Lancashire
Why: Thom's Birthday/please keep him from being bored out of his mind with no Quidditch this summer
When: Dinner Party on the evening of the 19th; weekend lodgers are invited the 19th-22nd (Thursday afternoon through Sunday evening) but can come and go at their leisure.

The dinner party will be formal and more inclusive as far as invites go, though still small enough to be considered 'intimate.' In an ideal world this would be people Thom & Hannah already had established relationships with, but since half of the wizarding world is quarantined in Hogsmeade the invite list is probably more flexible. Basically, if you're UC, good rep, and we haven't already established that they don't get along (and you're not, like, a veela) you're good to come to dinner.

The weekend party will consist mostly of gentleman whom Thom likes, plus their wives/sisters if they feel super inclined to bring them along. (If we have not previously established that Thom and your character are friends and you want them to come to the weekend, please coordinate with Lynn). Activities will include riding/hunting parties on the estate, shooting skeet, fishing, and other outdoorsy manly things. The ladies can entertain themselves however they like at Hannah Pettigrew's discretion. There is a small section of seaside at the far end of the estate so there may be an opportunity for bathing if the weather is well suited.
