Rhych Greenthorn - April 30, 2020
Rhych Greenthorn is an angry kid. He can’t stand rich kids who act like they rule the world. He takes their things and only when he’s finished with them does he return them usually in other people’s possessions to try to take suspicion off him. He’s amazed by magic and is interested in learning all he can about it. He’s polite and formal in front of professors and rude with students.
FRIENDS
Rhych likes some students, usually halfbloods and muggleborn students. He’s very loyal and protective of the few friends he does have. He also likes to help some other students who might have problems with their classes.
ENEMIES
Rhych hates purebloods and rich students and they in turn probably hate Rhych. Students whose belongings disappeared and then mysteriously reappeared may suspect Rhych as the perpetrator. They may want to find a way to prove that he was the perpetrator.
LOVERS
Rhych is realizing he is attracted to guys more than he is attracted to girls, but he realizes he lives in a time where this can be dangerous.
POSSIBLE PLOTS
Some of Rhych’s victims are keeping an eye on him to see if they can find him stealing from another student.
How will students react to Rhych being their tutor? Well or not? Perhaps some become his friends by getting to know him.
Maybe someone was mugged by Rhych and the gang he was in on the streets of London and as a fellow student now, wants revenge. Maybe an older student who knows stronger charms than Rhych knows as a second year student.

He may have had some run-ins with
George Waterford, who is both in his house and a prefect! I also have two of his other housemates (
Idunn Fraser and
Holliday Fudge), but not sure how much they'd have to do with him.
Abraxas Crabbe is in his year and friendly as all get out, but also is a wealthy pureblood and best friends with
Sirius Black so Rych might dislike him on principle xD

Funny you should mention
Idunn Fraser. I saw her open thread and I thought it might be interesting if the professor asking her to help tutor students also asked
Rhych Greenthorn to be there in case there are also 1st or 2nd years that he can help out. But perhaps the prof asked Rhych to be there in case Idunn isn't too smooth with the students. He can pretend to be there as her support, maybe, but he's really good at tutoring.
Yeah, I can see him getting into some scrapes, but he might like
George Waterford because she's a halfblood and different.
Would
Abraxas Crabbe have any interesting things that Rhych might steal - I mean borrow from his schoolbag without him knowing, hopefully? Does Abraxas have any troubles in any classes? Maybe Rhych can tutor him on something.
Rhych might've stolen something from
Paxton Fudge's bag and is trying to find a way to put it in
Holliday Fudge's bag without her knowing. They could be either in the Great Hall or the Ravenclaw common room. Perhaps he doesn't steal just from the rich kids. It just depends on whether he likes the item or not.

Hello! I offer up
Andromeda Delacour who is the Ravenclaw Matron for any advice or matronly duties that you may need! I also have
Sunday Fudge who is a 1st year Gryffindor and half-bood, but she's also got a bunch of siblings around the castle. Tutoring might be an option, but she's got her sister Holliday in Ravenclaw whom she adores and would probably consult her before she consulted Rhych. But she's available for general student threads if you'd like!

Claire Bénet may be rich and PB, but she is sweet and playful and loves good-natured pranks. I could see her trying to constantly win him over when he assumes that she's entitled and a brat (which she's not, just oblivious at times). I would love to see them thread.
Acacia tries to be kind to everyone, though the large age difference may lead to them not having much to discuss.
Camille Scrimgeour can be a victim of theft. While
she may not make a huge fuss on the matter, her sister (
Holly Scrimgeour) might take major offense (family pride and all).
@"Sweetie Whitledge would definitely be angry if someone stole from her. I can see her attempting to find the culprit while in cat form or something.

Unfortunately I don't think that really works—she's tutoring specific students rather than offering her time generally—but he's welcome to join in if he's there for extra help

In terms of ~learning, Rex is
fabulous at theory but only okay (but enthusiastic!) about practical things. In terms of "stuff", he definitely owns it? But I can't think of anything specific off the top of my head haha

Rhych would never muck about with
Andromeda Delacour. He doesn’t do well with authority, but he’s also not stupid. I’m sure he’s learned a lot since his first year last year.
Sunday Fudge might be perfect for one of those you’re walking along a corridor and bump into someone scenarios.
I can see Rhych being very annoyed by
Claire Bénet because of that, but that might be fun actually.
And
Sweetie Whitledge would probably be the victim to make Rhych watch out for what he takes in the future, because it sounds like she would be out for vengeance and won’t stop to take him down. Problem with her being in cat form is he might keep her in his room. Unless that’s the idea. I mean he can always explain it away as thinking the cat was a stray or something and he was only trying to take care of it overnight. In fact, he might decide to take it to
Andromeda Delacour to have her deal with it.

Hi there! I'm a Bee, welcome aboard! (I moved you thread to the networking by the way, into its proper home!)
I have very little to offer unfortunately, but I do have the headmaster
Phineas Black who is the definition of everything Rhych hates, but also holds the power to expel him, I would tread lightly. XD
I also have your far more easy going herbology professor
Mason Skeeter who is a pretty chill professor unless his greenhouses get messed with.
And I have
Sloane Bixby third year Gryffindor seeker, she's a middle class half-blood and a wicked tomboy. She's generally really outgoing, but also such a Gryffindor it hurts, so I'm not super sure how she would feel about Rhych's attitude and habits xD

Seneca Lestrange can be one of his victims, she's an upper class pureblood and although she's not actively bullying people or anything, he'd likely consider her snotty.
Then I have her cousin,
Meta Lestrange who began as a snotty PB kid but she has become blood traitor-ish since. She also has anger issues and they could be friendly?
Lastly, my third student is
Ruby Urquart who has received a lot of crap for having a werewolf sister, so they could be friendly?

I won't be on again until the 5th and I'll try to start threads then. Unless you want to start them and I'll be glad to answer any then. Thanks.
