Potion Brewing Group H - Constance Sykes - November 16, 2018
Eyes narrowing at the snake fangs on the desk Connie felt a headache coming on from the fumes she had endured all day and she held them directly responsible. Better them than the students at any rate, and they were soon to be crushed so she would probably feel better.
"For your final potion we would like you to brew a wide-eye potion."
Merlin knew she could do with one most mornings.
You have 72 hours to post you character completing the potion. First one to post gets a +1 on their score!
RE: Potion Brewing Group H - Abraxas Crabbe - November 16, 2018
It did not escape Rex's notice that he was the only first year here.
Whether that was a good thing or not, the Hufflepuff could not say for sure, but the realization sent a new surge of nervousness through him. Had the directions not been on the blackboard, Abraxas would likely have missed entirely the fact that he was supposed to be working on a wideye potion, and so the young wizard was several beats behind his more experienced competition getting started. The boy worked hard on his potion, realizing that he was the first one done, in spite of being the last to start.
At least this time Luce could be paired with more friendly faces with the students she was competing against. Even if she had won, she reminded herself to not let it go to her head. A lady never let things get to her head like that. Deep breathes helped. Though she did have to ignore the potion ingredients that were starting to grow more obvious as the time had gone by. Focus, she had to remember to focus. Such ingredients that were bugging her nose had to be kept track of. How she made her potion was also quite important. And she had to focus. She could do this, hard work would certainly be a key factor.
RE: Potion Brewing Group H - Sisse Thompsett - November 17, 2018
Sisse had no expected to go on to the next round. It appeared though that her practice had paid off as she looked at the two farmiliar faces in the room and smiled at them. Well at least it was a potion she had made before and if nothing else it was good practice. As they were told to start she tried to consider it just another class and diligently followed the directions until she finished the potion.

Between the two second year girls and young Mr Crabbe it was a very civilised competition indeed, all of them behaving wonderfully and being a credit to their house, but in the end it was Miss Thompsett’s efforts that came out on top.
“Congratulations Miss Thompsett, that’s twenty-five points to Gryffindor,” Connie said with a smile filled with praise. It was always a pleasure to see young ladies acquainting themselves so well, even if she wouldn’t have especially begrudged Mr Crabbe the win. “And well done all of you for doing so well.”
