The Final, Terrible Voyage of the Nautilus - WIRED
The Twitter lede: "It should have been like any other interview. But something happened to Kim Wall out on the water outside Copenhagen. Her friend needed to find out."
This is SO GOOD and VERY SAD and I need someone else to read it so we can talk about it.

So the
Nautilus is also the name of the US Navy's first nuclear submarine, which I had to learn about when I was in the Navy ("Under way under nuclear power," were the first words broadcast from it in case you were wondering) and I was super confused by the title. xD Like "certainly if the Nautilus had some tragic fate, I would have heard about it?"

everything I read about pregnancy makes it sound like an awful alien body-invasion flick.
This is actually a very detailed and technical explanation of why women have periods, but
dude, pregnancy is objectively terrible for the mother.

This really isn't a
long read, but it's something I feel DEEPLY PASSIONATE about. As a child who had their self-esteem destroyed by behavior charts as a fifth grader,
this article about why they're awful makes me VERY HAPPY.
