Last night saw the annual Coming Out Ball at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a tradition that allows even girls of the meanest backgrounds to have a picturesque memory of their time at Hogwarts. With it, we welcome a number of young ladies into society, and the world at large!

Miss Flora Mulciber, Head Girl, of Wellingtonshire, Hogsmeade. Miss Mulciber is the daughter of the late Mr. Ernest Mulciber and his widow, Mrs. Rufina née Longbottom.

Miss Isobel Valenduris, Gryffindor Prefect, of London. Miss Valenduris is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Rasputin Valenduris, and the granddaughter of the school's deputy headmaster.

Miss [Name Here], Hufflepuff Prefect, of [Somewhere]. Miss [Name] is the daughter of [Her Parents].

Miss Emma Flitwick, Ravenclaw Prefect, of Hogsmeade. Miss Flitwick is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Flitwick.

Sources say Miss Mulciber will not be entering the Season this year, but instead will be one to watch in 1896. As to Miss Flitwick, will we see her enter the Season this year, or will she tie the knot in an arranged match instead?

These are, of course, not the only young ladies to have made their grand entrance last evening. They were joined by:

Miss Guinevere Frost of Wellingtonshire, Hogsmeade. Miss Frost is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Paddington Frost.

Miss Harmony Gambol of North Bartonburg, Hogsmeade. Miss Gambol is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Gambol, and the great-granddaughter of former Minister of Magic Ottaline Gambol.

Miss Samantha Lockridge of Cheshire. Miss Lockridge is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Oscar Lockridge.

Miss Sybille Lukeson of London. Miss Lukeson is the daughter of the late Mr. Ryder Lukeson and his widow, Mrs. Guinevere née Rey.

Miss Ilysa MacFusty of the Hebridges. Miss MacFusty is the daughter of Mr. Kentigern MacFusty and his late wife, Mrs. Birgit née Cavanaugh.

Miss Edelweiss Prewett of London. Miss Prewett is the daughter of Mr. Faustus Prewett, former head auror, and his late wife Mrs. Jane née Pettigrew. (Ed.: Miss Prewett is this editor's Best Dressed of the Evening!)

Miss Ottaline [Surname] of [Place]. Miss [Surname] is the daughter of [Mr. & Mrs. Surname], and the great-granddaughter of former Minister of Magic Ottaline Gambol.

Miss Levina Wolff of Ireland. Miss Wolff is the daughter of Mr. Trevor Wolff and his late wife, Mrs. Suzanne née Preston.

Of course, the young ladies are not the only students who have now departed Hogwarts. As is tradition, all seventh years departed from Hogwarts at midnight. Among their number was Mr. Sirius Black, Head Boy, the son of Headmaster & Mrs. Phineas Black.
