This is: Desmond - Desmond Shacklebolt - August 21, 2024
A self-assured, steadfast boy born into a tenuous privilege of the nouveau riche, blending English traditions with African heritage. As the family heir, he carries the weight of high expectations, with Society watching to see if he will sustain the family fortune or falter. The only person who truly understands him is his twin sister, Georgianna, they often see themselves as a single unit and their bond is unmatched. Together, they're facing the challenges of Hogwarts head-on, where Desmond is determined to fulfill his destiny, embracing the future with an optimism he doesn't just keep to himself, and with his twin sister right behind him.
For Desmond, I'm looking for:
Friends: Fellow schoolmates, especially first years. Desmond is a kid for whom skills come easily, but he's generally the first to cheer on his fellows when they show improvement. He's easily the builder in a group, gladly stepping aside from leadership to let someone else take the reins while he points out the strengths in other people. He's an optimist as well, so when the going gets tough it's Desmond that wants to get you going.
Rivals/Enemies: These might be a rare find, as Desmond is not a mean or jealous creature. Though it might be easy to find faults with Desmond, even ones he didn't create himself: his blood, his color, his (new) money, his talent; all eligible for someone to find themselves rubbed wrong by him. However, the worst yet might be if someone crosses his sister, for he is her fierce defender.
Other: I'm open to anything else, especially establishing background relationships with fellow upperclass students or teachers.

I have Mo! Ramona Pendergast who pretty easy going in regards to friends! She's also a twin!
If sorted into Puff will get Fiona McCarthy for a Matron and Mason as HoH, at the very least, professor XD

Yes, Des would love to meet Romona. She seems like a sweet kid, he might be a little loud for her but I think they could get along.
Phineas Black II Oh, I can see James being SUCH a bad influence. Please bring the chaos. Especially if Des is sorted into Gryffindor, I have an idea for a post-curfew adventuring thread.
And Phin could be the awkward, they're both UC but Des isn't pureblood. He might be put off by Desmond's muggleborn mother, in fact, even if race doesn't factor in. Also, that Des is new money compared to the Black's very established wealth. That's all a fun combination to untangle, imo, so I welcome the chance.

Outside? Did she bring her broom? They could race brush up on technique before the first flying class.
