Hey, y'all~. I'm gonna put in the effort to be a better poster than I ever was before. I swear. That said, I've never been one for particularly fast-moving plots, preferring to take my time, unless I had preplanned something to move quickly. Even then, my faster plots didn't always go as planned. Let's hope things work differently this time around, yes?

Far too trusting for her own good, Beatrix Marjorie Alardice has always been easily manipulated, and she's never grown out of it. Well. Until recently. She's still more trusting than she ought to be, but she has a secret to keep. One that could ruin her...

FRIENDS: Fellow 1891 graduates, as well as students two years ahead and two years behind (so graduates of '89 to '93).
"FRIENDS": People wanting to take advantage of Bea and her trusting nature.

Killian Tabiner
54 | RAVENCLAW CLASS of '60

Killian is the sort of man who thinks he's the best, but knows he's so devastatingly wrong. He also thinks he has a romantic soul, despite all he's done. Simply put, this man is a disaster.

FRIENDS: I never established friends for him, because he was such a social recluse outside of work. So most of his friends will come be Ministry types, though he'll probably have a few acquaintances from his school days.
ENEMIES: Killian is anti-half-breed, and anti-werewolf. He's very offended by the reveal of Mrs. Skeeter's fuzzy side.
ENTANGLEMENTS: Probably going to be difficult to find, but Killian is bisexual. He's always been a bit hung up on what he thinks is his "great love," but I'm open to newer relationships. :D

Phillip Darlington

Phillip Rhys Darlington, formerly Viscount Winfield, now just an ordinary wizard who gave up all the trappings of non-magical society for a woman. Now that he's a father, Phillip's entirely settled down from his flirtatious beginnings, his title handed off to his only nephew thus far. He doesn't know what he's doing, exactly, but he'll be damned if he won't try.

FRIENDS: Anyone who's willing to overlook his glaringly obvious flaws. Primarily gentlemen of a close age.
ENEMIES: Anyone who isn't willing to overlook the things he's done, especially his choice of wife.

Samantha Lockridge
18 | RAVENCLAW CLASS of '95
UCPB | debutante

The daughter of an Englishman and an American, Samantha Lockridge was raised quite English, her mother barely having a direct hand in her upbringing or that of her siblings. Samantha herself is a precocious young woman, curious about the world around her — at least where the practical applications can be found.

FRIENDS: Fellow graduates of Hogwarts, 1895, as well as those graduating in the next two years and those who've graduated two years prior, and other casual members of The Society for the Transfiguration Arts.
HURLS: 23+, UC preferred (but MC accepted), any blood status. I lean towards IC chemistry, but if something comes across that's particularly good...

MIDDLE CLASS

Stella Dhan

A member of the financially well-off Dhan family, Stella tries to be friendly. She tries to have a positive outlook on life. Unfortunately, she's extremely self-conscious — to a painful level. She's also excruciatingly stubborn. That said, she is a very loyal and kind friend once you get past her shell. It's just getting past that point that's difficult.

FRIENDS: Fellow Hufflepuffs, fellow middle class students across Hogwarts, especially between fourth and seventh year.
PRE-HURLS: Stella is by no means ready for marriage, but puppy love might still be a thing! Any class, any blood, any gender, sixth or seventh year!

WORKING CLASS

Anne McCandless

WCHB | housemaid

A maid in the Alardice household, and the person who determined Beatrix's delicate situation. Anne herself is selfless and observant, and chose to enter domestic service rather than taking the path of midwifery like her mother, aunts, and elder sisters. It's given her something of a chance to be her own person. Anne did not complete her Hogwarts education, departing after her second year.

FRIENDS: I know there aren't many domestic servants on site, but WC folks living in London especially would suit! She does also occasionally visit Hogsmeade.
HURLS: I could see Anne eventually marrying; likely WC, but I would be willing to accept MC, and her age or older.
