We hesitate to make predictions only one month into an unpredictable sport. However, it's apparent that the Cannons are making serious moves after their catastrophic loss in January's league final, making them the team to beat so far this season. Puddlemere United, last year's victors, aren't doing poorly - but they aren't killing their competition, either, and no doubt team sponsor Mr. Thom Pettigrew will be pressuring the team to improve their game going forward.
The off-season shuffle conducted by the Holyhead Harpies has also obviously paid off, and the team played particularly well against the catastrophically failing Ballycastle.
