Family for Emilia? - Emilia Wright - July 29, 2023

Hi people!

I'm making Jude Wright's mom, Emilia.

She's born in 1836, to a halfblood (preferred) or pureblood family. Upper class, (maybe upper middle would work if MJ is okay with it as well) that is traditional and conservative.

Emilia was brought up knowing that her duty and purpose as a woman is to make a good marriage and then be a dutiful wife and mother. She never challenged that growing up, but it didn't feel quite right either.

At school I picture her a Ravenclaw, who had academic and magical talent, but because doing anything with those skills wasn't shown as an option to her, she overlooked it.

Let me know if you have a family that could fit the bill! Bonus points if one of her relatives is also going to run for Minister alongside Jude, or is in general a conservative Ministry man, that would be fun >:D

I can see her being the oldest sister of Vera Morgan ~~who I swear I'll bring back sooner rather than later~~. IDK if you wanna take a look through Vera's history and see if that works? The only thing I can think of that doesn't match for the two is the description of their mother.

I have a couple vague ideas:

Niece to Horace Darling (Evangeline Darling's British-born husband), making her UCHB
A sister to the late Alexander King (b. 1842), making her Eudora King's aunt and UCHB
A sister to Augustus (1830ish) or Millicent (1838ish) Broadmoor, making her Persephone Broadmoor's aunt (also Cleon Broadmoor), born to the middle class. Augsutus' blood is open, Millie is HB.

General vibes of the characters mentioned, excepting Alexander King, can be found in my ads.
