Lady Does Nano 2k22 - Adrienne Lestrange - November 10, 2022

Right so it's already the 10th of November and I have done SQUAT with Adrienne for Nano, so here's where I'm at and here's where Adrienne's at:

Married to the Lestranges, and definitely feeling a bit out of her depths here
She's an animagus, however she is an unregistered one, but I'd like to do something more with that, I'm just drawing a blank on what...maybe someone catches her one night?
Building off of that, I also headcanon that she has since taken to leaving the house at night to walk around in her animagus form, if that's something that strikes your inspiration Cassius Lestrange? I know you're in the midst of election, so just consider this a bookmarked thought until you are free xD
Adrienne needs to establish herself in society, but she's not sure how. She used to show a lot of interest in becoming a midwife, and she still wants to, but has no idea if that's entirely plausible for her now.
She misses her twin and also just her family at large. Obviously she's not barred from seeing them, but she misses living at home more than she thought she would.

If you have any ideas that build off of this, or anything that strikes your muse/inspo, pls lmk, I'd love to throw some things up! :D

Nephele!
She is here to help the other Selwyn get setteled in! So if she needs a new Lestrange sort of mom figure then Nel is excited for that and to help her get established in society.

She and Merida should be deer friends - she is also fallow deer. They could think the other is a real deer and just be deer friends! I'm planning on having someone accidentily 'hunt' her, in animagus form.

I can offer Malcorvus to catch her transforming. He's an animagus as well and could be out enjoying his animal form and spot her transform into or out of deer form. He could also help her establish herself in society, with her husband's permission.

For Nephele Lestrange idea mentioned above, I offer Edgar Minks to try and hunt them , not realizing they are animagus in animal form

Cornelia Pendergast is inactive right now so honestly not helpful right now, but I'll forget if I wait. But anyways, she is Cash's younger sister so I'd love to see if they got along at some point!!

But for now, her and Bea are similar ages and could be thrown together to see if they are friendly though Bea would likely not be considered a help in society lol.

Felix will be at her wedding if you'd like that. And Ani was in her year at school if you wanted them to run into each other. Not sure if either of those are much help.

We were going to do a pre-wedding day thread where Adrienne wakes Aristide and they go spend a night out in the woods of the Selwyn estate. xD Their version of a bachelorette party I suppose.

Adrienne & Ida were same year, I think we said they're generally friendly? Anyway Ida is very all up in the Animagus stuff (my Nano goal is backdating her IC transformation) and studying advanced Transfig stuff if there's an a plotty 'in' there you want to explore. Smile

Also volunteer Diana Selwyn who willl be human some point this month if I can get my shit together?? She'll have lots of her plate getting back to being alive/in the family, and will definitely give Adrienne... non-traditional advice. Think of her as your drunken auntie who keeps it real, good counterpoint to her sister Nephele. Wink

June and Adrienne were both the same year/house at Hogwarts, so I would assume they would know each other. Maybe even friendly? (I swear June isn't mean to every person she meets lol.)

Tiberius Lestrange who is newly related to her
Emrys Selwyn who is not-newly related to her
Fortitude Greengrass who is good friends with Cash but also not speaking to him at the moment - not sure if Cash would have mentioned either of those facts to her though. He has a lot of Strong Feelings about the marriage but would try his best to be nice to her because he thinks she's more of a victim here than Cash is.

With Ambrosia as a "mother" figure who wasn't extremely affectionate, Adrienne's very unused to any sort of maternal affection, so I'd be intrigued to see she'd react to that, esp since she doesn't entirely trust the Lestrange family!

Yes pls!! Adrienne also likes to go out by herself (she used to do that all the time at the Selwyn estate) so I could see her potentially trying to stop the hunter from hurting Merida, even if she doesn't know the other is an animagus.

Oohh I think yes we said they're generally friendly, but I'd like to explore their friendship a bit more! I think they have a similar zest for ambition, so I could see Ida being a friend Adrienne maybe opens up to a bit more? And omg yesss Diana advice. Adrienne will be so bewildered

Since Tiberius and Cash had that arrangement, I'm curious to see what Tiberius is like now that Adrienne is in the family. I also don't know if Cash would have mentioned Ford, buuuut I'm also verryyy interested in seeing how Ford and Adrienne interact!

Yessss! Since Tiberius has an heir now he's less concerned with, ah, following through on the deal but idk if it's still on Cash's radar or not. Cassius Lestrange care to weigh in?

Torie would be super sweet to her and they're in the same social circles! She and Tillie must have been school mates too before Tillie was yanked for finishing school!

Also there's Angie for awkwardness. Adrienne just married her bae and Angie has feelings on the matter XD
