Dear Son,
Your beloved Mama, would like to see you this week, on a day when you are at your leisure and could take time to share a meal with me from which you will not be hurried away by something that you could have foreseen.
Let me know which day would suit and I will have cook make up your favourite and we might spend a pleasant afternoon together.
RE: Mothers Knows Best - Savino Zabini - March 8, 2022
Oh no. She could have just as well asked him in person – but maybe Savino was just too practised at evading and obfuscating and making promises to his mother he didn’t actually keep, because a formal, written invitation to a private dinner – with no one else in the family to distract her attention from him! – was tantamount to a summons from the Wizengamot, and certainly a command. Savino considered every excuse in the book before sighing and surrendering.

Mamma,
You did not have to write; you know you can see me whenever you wish. But I can finish at work early tomorrow if it suits you.
