"Why did you say that as if you did that?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

This was it, the perfect moment to tell someone of her adventure. "My twin and I stowed away on a ship." She said with pride.

"You...what now?" He said, utterly flabbergasted.

"That's right. We snuck away and joined the ship. It was epic, and we hid for..." was it a week or two? Oh, does it really matter? It was an adventure at the age of eleven! "Well, anyway, the only reason we got caught was because of my first sign of magic. I started floating up into the air in the middle of the night after falling overboard."

"Oooh! Fun, my first magic was nearly blowing up the forge, and sending iron nails through a stone wall."

That sounded scary. Her eyes widened as she listened. "Wow." She said.

"Thankfully mum was out shopping! And pa lept out of the work area." The next day that professor showed up."

"It was good luck that no one got hurt." She wondered what it would be like if that had been her first act of magic.

"I was told my wand is good for dueling too! So I signed up for that club, and history club."

RE: A Quiet Saturday Morning - Claire Bénet - April 4, 2019

"Oh, I'm in history club! Mama was very stern about me not being in dueling club though." She said with a sigh at the end. How was she supposed to fend off pirates if she didn't know how to duel? Did they ever learn with actual swords?

"Well.... maybe I could teach you?" He suggested, woefully ignorant of Upper Class life.

RE: A Quiet Saturday Morning - Claire Bénet - April 4, 2019

She tilted her head. "Sounds like a good idea to me." She said after a moment.

"So, seriously, where to now?" He asked, out of ideas that were not heights.

RE: A Quiet Saturday Morning - Claire Bénet - April 4, 2019

"Back to the castles? I would love to explore some more." Maybe the founders had hidden treasure!

" I was told we can bribe the house elves for free food!"

RE: A Quiet Saturday Morning - Claire Bénet - April 4, 2019

Free food? That sounded wonderful. "Let's do that then!"
