Not that her opinion matters but Freya is super skeptical about the sponsorship considering the Selwyn's are well off and well connected

She's a natural child - most families, even if they claimed her would still farm her out as governess or teacher in a girls school, a public debut would almost certainly not be on the cards. Even children that a father chose to acknowledge or support would not be treated the way a legitimate child would, could not inherit if there were legitimate children, and was lucky that her mother didn't murder her in her cot (Half the murders in the late 19th century were illegitimate children)

RE: Calling all gods *cough* Selwyns! - Anthea Selwyn - July 31, 2020

So just putting it out there because it's not here.

Have Anthea/ Athena now in play.

She'd like to get out the house very much Ambrosia but apparently is not allowed to because she's got woman parts and therefore not actually allowed to live by herself.

She also recently became a Member of the Experimental Charms Committee. So yay job promotions!

RE: Calling all gods *cough* Selwyns! - Daniel Selwyn - August 5, 2020

If anyone has any ideas how Daniel can mess up your lives please let me know.

Also Zeus has affectionately been named Arthur until someone adopts him.

And welcome Anthea :D I'm blaming your living situation on Zeus.

Pardon me while I pass out.

Complicated marriage threads plz. Can I start something?

RE: Calling all gods *cough* Selwyns! - Benevolence Crouch - October 6, 2020

Cad would like his father to arrange a marriage for him so a thread of him asking would be good

RE: Calling all gods *cough* Selwyns! - Sisse Thompsett - October 6, 2020

@"Benevolence Montague" Did you have the lucky lady picked out yet? I have two I can throw at you if you haven't.

RE: Calling all gods *cough* Selwyns! - Acacia Darlington - October 6, 2020

I also have two young ladies I want to betrothal pimp at you for

RE: Calling all gods *cough* Selwyns! - Trystan Selwyn - October 6, 2020

Yes please, Lauren I would love you to start something >D Same to Kelly and Dante and anyone who wants a thread, if you start something and tag me I will hit them up with replies when he's good to go! (Although you might be able to guess his stance on arranged marriages from his app, just saying Wink )

RE: Calling all gods *cough* Selwyns! - Murdock Greyback - October 7, 2020

Sisse Thompsett and @"Acacia Ruskin" - There was no one in mind, Cad just doesn't think he will be very interested in romance and wants a power marriage rather than one for affection.

RE: Calling all gods *cough* Selwyns! - Daniel Selwyn - October 7, 2020

So I have a couple of myth based plottables I have been sitting on since I wrote up the Selwyns (I mean they were already a ridiculously large family to pimp). Since they don't affect Daniel (unless you want to drag him in) I wanted to see if you all would like me to post them up.

The first involves Medusa which would be a plot for Emrys Selwyn and Anthea Selwyn and anyone else they wish to drag in.

The next involves Heracles which would be a plot for Ambrosia Selwyn (and Trystan Selwyn) if she chooses to pull him in.

Aside from plottables I so had a couple plot ideas for the family so here goes.

Pandora's Box: Since this one uses so at least three plottables I figured we could NPC Pandora. This plot would primarily revolve around Trystan Selwyn but  suspect we can easily pull in all the adults as needed.

Alycone and Ceyx: Again this would be using an NPC couple who has modeled themselves in a creepy way after Trystan Selwyn and Ambrosia Selwyn, I highly suspect that Daniel Selwyn would have put the couple up to it to drive the two mad/ play a practical joke on them. Plot spoiler, the couple ends up transfigured into birds for the rest of their days.

Oedipus: Mainly involving Emrys Selwyn this would revolve around one of his captains who perhaps his siblings have taken to sending out on various ridiculous missions leaving Emrys to think he never showed back up.

I do have a couple of other plots sitting around as well that I'm waiting for the last adopts to be taken to bring out.

Anyway, if you all like any of these ideas let me know and we can get the ball rolling on them.

RE: Calling all gods *cough* Selwyns! - Ambrosia Selwyn - October 7, 2020

I am absolutely here for Herakles related drama as it remains my favourite myth about Hera.

Why do you hate him more than the other bastards Hera? Who the fuck knows. SMITE.
