Another tea scandal is brewing—but this one has left your character translated. This morning, your character woke up in a bed that is not their own, seemingly wearing a body that is not their own. While for some characters the former is not unusual, the latter is definitely disconcerting to all!
There are a few clues to suggest, however, that your body has been transformed rather than swapped: you still use your dominant hand, those pregnant remain so (regardless of the limitations of their new body...), current illnesses still affect you, magical abilities are intact to the original character (except for metamorphmagi), and the wand you stumble upon simply will not cooperate!
Your character is not certain how this came to pass—the only major deviation from routine yesterday was a visit to Puck's Parlour, the new tearoom in Hogsmeade. Their Midsummer Blend was quite tasty—and given out in free samples, no less! Those roving the High Street, however, may note that the tearoom is closed today, in spite of its popular opening yesterday...

- While your character has been given the identity of another and could, at least in the short term, impact their reputation, anything done to the actual body affects your own character.

Aldous Crouch question :) Alfred was cursed in the Pictish ordeal & currently wears an enchanted earring to prevent the curse from acting up and to keep him from dying. Does the curse travel with him or stick with his body? I assume the earring stays with the body. I can roll either way. (Thomas Harvey)

It stays with the body — but the body goes with him! We've all been transformed, not swapped :)
