Did You Know?
Queen Victoria was known for putting jackets and dresses on her pups, causing clothing for dogs to become so popular that fashion houses for just dog clothes started popping up all over Paris. — Fox
It would be easy to assume that Evangeline came to the Lady Morgana only to pick fights. That wasn't true at all. They also had very good biscuits.

Appearance
Out of all his siblings, he favors his mother's appearance the most showing little of his European heritage. He keeps his hair cropped short to his head and often sports a well-maintained beard that is never allowed to grow long enough to hang. Dark brown eyes are set back in his rather blocky shaped head. He favors muggle fashion and uses his wand and writes with his right hand.
History
Childhood
Born on a Friday, Victorius is the eldest child and only son to London native Cosmo Zabini and Ghanian Ama Ayodele. The two met in England and married within four months of their meeting. His middle names originate from his date of birth and his father's grandfather. He remains an only child for a short time and his sister is born three years later, in 1857, and named Lavinia Afia Margaret. His third sister comes in '64 and his fourth in 1867
.
He is a quiet kid and typically stays out of sight and out of mind. Rather he spends his time watching everyone and reading books. His first sign of magic comes when he gets angry at his mother's insistence of his going to lessons when he'd rather have been playing outside.

Hogwarts
In 1865, he starts his first year at Hogwarts and is sorted into Slytherin. The sorting hat proves to be much better than what he is told to expect by a serving boy who'd dropped out after his first year. The boy had told him they would be assigned houses by having all the first years duel each other. He is quite relieved that isn't the case.

He slides through his seven years floating just above the middle. His grades are good but he isn't outstanding. He never becomes a prefect or joins the quidditch team, the only notable things he does is join the chess club all seventh year and becomes an animangus under his mother's tutelage in his fifth and sixth years. His form is a European Eagle Owl. His Patronus proves to be the same in his seventh year. He graduates in the spring of 1873.

The Golden Years
Upon leaving Hogwarts, Victorius finds employment with the Ministry of Magic as a member of the accidental magic reversal squad. He doesn't need a job, he could easily live off his family's money but having always been the kind to look before he steps and over-preparing for everything, he doesn't mind the extra income should anything ever happen. Still, he initially thought the job would be mostly desk work and little drama - he quickly learns he was wrong.

A few years after entering the department his father arranges a marriage for him with a pureblood girl a few years younger than him, to occur once she graduates Hogwarts in a few years. His eldest sister marries in 1876. A few months following her graduation, he marries the woman his father chose for him. While they aren't in love or any of that fluffy nonsense, they get along well and work well together. Their first child, a son, follows in 1879.

He progresses in his department quickly and is made the head of the squad when the previous head retires in 1879, a few months after the birth of his son. A daughter follows in '81.

Everything Falls Apart
A cousin somewhere on his father's side decided to get into genealogy - which would have been neat if it wasn't for the fact he dug up proof that their mother's grandmother was a muggle. Their standing in the pureblood circle is suddenly gone and Cosmo divorces his mother just as quickly as he married her. Victorius gets off lucky, he was already married. His sisters, on the other hand, lose their betrothals and the conflict of those they want to marry not wanting them begins. He does, however, end up in fights with his wife, who believes she was marrying into a pureblood family. It takes a few years for the two to find the mutual ground again.

As far as his mother, she remains nearby, but he chooses to distance himself, seeking stability for his wife and children rather than to go chasing after her.

In Christmas of '82, his father remarries to a Miss Zelda Goyle - six years his younger. This enlightens a fear in him he never before needed to worry about - being replaced. If his new stepmother produces a male, he could be disowned and replaced as heir. And when she announces on New Year's even she is pregnant, the fear spikes. Zelda dies in childbirth the next year, though the child is, in fact, a male so his worry stays.

The chaos continues and Lavinia and her family moves to Italy.

His worry proves unwarranted as Sebastian perish in the plague. Cosmo, Camille, and Lavinia's whole family also fall sick, but they recover. Bellona spent the summer at a friend’s house and remains healthy.

Putting the Pieces Back Together
Due to his diligence at work, he becomes is promoted to Assistant Head of the department in '84. The title seems to please his wife enough that the two finally seem to have set aside their arguments. More children followed a son in '85 and '86 and a daughter in '89.  As another step in his career, he is promoted to Head in 1888.

His father announces his intention to marry once more to his children in the summer. The woman is Calliope Riley, a widow with her own child and charge of two of her deceased husband's children. This one is thirteen years younger than him and three years younger than his own wife and will, once again, never be called mother. He doesn't like her and her presence stirs his old fear of being replaced. The wedding occurs at the beginning of the new year.
Personality
Planner. Caring. Paranoid. Hard-working. Quiet. Aimless. Even amongst those he knows the best and is the most comfortable around, he rarely speaks more than a few words at a time, preferring to watch the action than be in it. He leaves the hosting to his sisters and wife and is overall content to be arm decor when dragged along to parties. Still, sometimes his expressions allude to more and inside his thoughts are always turning, just trying to stay on top of things and pick the path that is the most useful to himself. He is never quite comfortable until he feels like he is two steps ahead and does not enjoy chaos. In his comfort zone, he can be hardworking, often staying late hours at work to finish rather than leave things unfinished. Anything that holds his attention, be it work or a person, receives 110% of his effort and care, though he finds it hard to let people into that tight circle of comfort. In an overall sense, he tends to operate day to day, rather than focusing on a big picture and often find himself afloat without something concrete to focus on.
