Did you know?

The Language of the Flowers was a popular method to express feelings where words might be improper, but did you know other means of doing so? Some ladies used their parasols, as well as their fans, gloves, and hankies to flirt with a gentleman (or alternatively, tell them to shove it!). — Bree

Ester Montgomery for Thomas Montgomery. The one that got away (with the pornographer...)
This boy, then. He wasn't new. Wasn't one of the worst people in the common room, those rotten rich boys - like Mr. Jailkeeper - who could not fathom a world beyond their own farts. Was a good working class lad, so he'd heard. Had a bit of a weird looking face, and a bit of a weird thing for preaching. Still.

Richard wasn't actually keen for female companionship, not after the whole Bella Scrimgeour shitshow but he did not have it in him to turn her away. It wasn't like it had been her fault, after all. - Richard Gladstone; What do the Cards say?

It was hard to let others in... after everything that has happened. The betrayals, the fights, but that wasn't his fault. - Regina Lacey; What do the Cards say?

Her eyes are grey with a hint of blue, complimenting her blonde hair. She stands at 5'2", with a slim body. She is right handed. She adores the latest fashions, picking colors that typically both complement her and are perfect for the season.

PB ~ Hanna Edwinson

Extravert: Social interation gives Regina energy, and she has high energy when she is happy and spends time with crowds that she prefers.

Sensor: Regina would rather trust the knowledge of something that she truly knows, rather than going off of instinct. She prefers getting advice from trusted friends before taking action, when she has the option of doing so.

Feeler: Her personality comes off as warm and friendly, and she is very welcoming to new friendships. She often thinks of others, and wishes to help those who need it.

Perceiver: Decision making does not come easy to Regina, especially difficult ones. Rules frustate her at times if they seem unfair and unjust. Spontaneity is something that she often enjoys.
Amortentia: Kelly is unsure

Patronus: Horse

Boggart: Not yet sure here either

Star Sign: Leo

Hobbies: Horse back riding (when she can), attending balls.

Pets: She has an owl that hasn't been named, as she has had a hard time picking a good name for the creature.
1869: Regina is born to the Lacey family, as the only child of her parents.

1875: Regina shows signs of magic, by accidently making her father's business papers. (It takes days for him to find them.)

January 1, 1888: It is not yet public, or even inner circle, knowledge yet that Killian purposed to Regina, and she said yes (it's complicated).

February 28, 1888: The engagement is never known by anyone else (except Bella, and that chick wouldn't tell another soul or Regina would never forgive her), and is broken off before anyone else could learn of this miserable occurrence.

Summer, 1888: Bella and Regina have a falling out after all the drama that both girls have been through. Ever since that, things have been tense. On the bright side, Regina has finally been able to get more into the social events and socializing with friends more.

August 14, 1888: This is the first official time that Regina meets Mr. Richard Gladstone (a.k.a. crush of former friend Bella... the guy that Regina sent an anonymous letter to in an attempt to help Bella be happy with a guy she likes... which ended their friendship). She doesn't remember the dudes name from the letters, but she does remember Richard after this as a kind man that escorted her and her chaperone around London.

November 1, 1888: Both freshly burned by Bella once and for all, Richard and Regina meet once more. Regina starts to realize that she has feelings for this man, but does he feel the same way?
 • Regina is former friends with the near-famous Annabelle Scrimgeour.

 • She was also rarely seen at social functions until very recently.
 • Miss Lacey is the very mysterious blonde that has been mentioned in rumors regarding Richard Gladstone.

 • Her guardian is the reason for her lack of attendance at social gatherings until recently.
 • She and her guardian had an unofficial engagement that was immediately broke off after she was sober. None have been informed besides those that are of the most trust to Killian and Regina (which are exactly two people).

 • Regina has a crush on Mr. Gladstone.

Plot Preferences: Personally, I love making plots. I like planning things out. However, I'm also willing to plan things out, to then ditch the plan completely if the muse takes me and those I thread with in another direction. My characters tend to do as they please, leaving me wondering what on earth I just typed. Trying to make them do something that they will not naturally do seems strange, and won't work the way that the plan was supposed to.

"Mature" content does not bother me in threads. Language, violence, dark content, and even smut don't bother me (though if we are gonna do smut, there has got to be a good reason for it happening at all). However I'm not comfortable doing these things if it would not be something that my character would do, and/or if it is not for plot development.

For me, I like to try to type as much as my muse will allow. Typically I try to match with the other poster, if not posting more. I do not expect anyone to have to match my post word count if their muse does not call for it.

Dear Miss Social Failure:

You are selfish and blind to those that truly care for you. With your attitude, you will never be open to love, and may never know it. I feel sorry for you. If you ever decide to have forgiveness in your heart, rather than blocking out those who truly love you, both as friends and others, than I shall be open to said forgiveness. Until then, you are a terrible and close-minded person, just like your father.
