Did you know?
The Language of the Flowers was a popular method to express feelings where words might be improper, but did you know other means of doing so? Some ladies used their parasols, as well as their fans, gloves, and hankies to flirt with a gentleman (or alternatively, tell them to shove it!). — Bree ( Submit your own)

This boy, then. He wasn't new. Wasn't one of the worst people in the common room, those rotten rich boys - like Mr. Jailkeeper - who could not fathom a world beyond their own farts. Was a good working class lad, so he'd heard. Had a bit of a weird looking face, and a bit of a weird thing for preaching. Still.Aubrey Davis in The Under-Sofa

Andrew Woodcroft, Father b.1835- A bit of a daddy’s girl and always quite looked up to her father. When he gambled the Three Broomsticks away, she was disappointed but forgave him quickly as she was, after all, ten and she adored him a bit too much to hold a grudge.

Amelia Woodcroft nee ---, Mother b.1842- While she isn't also close to her mother as she is her father, she still adores her nonetheless and the two share a similar, peaceful disposition.

Hudson Woodcroft, Brother b.1861- While Linnie used to quite close to her brother, nowadays she feels mostly bitterness at him for ripping apart their family that started mostly when he moved out after her first year of school.

Emmeline Woodcroft, Sister b.1870- Of her siblings, she is far closer to her sister and the two get along for the most part, though they still fight like sisters do. She has started to harbor dislike that her sister still makes a point to speak to their brother.
A small thing, Lennie never grew past five foot in height and reached that height fairly quickly at age fifteen. She did grow into her body with curves, though slightly slower than her height, reaching a point in which it looks like she has curves but by far nothing to be jealous of. The trademark Woodcroft mop of brown hair that used to rest in ringlets that have since relaxed into loose waves along with deep brown eyes, darker than her hair. She dress in plain clothes out of fierce of habit, even though she now is making far more money. Plain, simple fabrics are cheap and easily replaced or clean. And in turn her hair is typically done up simply in braids or buns - whichever happened to be better for the task at hand. She uses her wand with her left hand.
moralistic - hopeless romantic - hard headed - unforgiving - cheerful - overzealous
1867 | Pauline Woodcroft is born as the second child of Andrew and Amelia Woodcroft. She's a quiet baby, content to watch rather than partake.

1870 | The last Woodcroft child is born with the name Emmeline - the similar ending sounds confuse her and she is quite pleased when her sister becomes Emmy and herself Linnie.

1872 | Hudson is off to Hogwarts and the four year old is while confused as to where her brother has gone and ask after him quite often in the first few months until she realizes what is going on.

1874 | Quite late, thought to be a result of her calmer and slightly passive nature, Linnie shows her first signs off magic when she falls from a considerable height and slows her decent enough that she slipped away with only a broken wrist - that heals improperly limiting the usage and forces her to learn how to work with her left hand.

1875 | The passing of her grandfather leaves her confused and upset which only worsens as they are uprooted and moved to Hogsmeade. She expresses her displeasure in the opposite way as her younger sister and remains silent. While she might not like it, she's the eldest child at home and feels like she needs to act as such.

1877 | Two years latter and people finally start moving into Hogsmeade and she is really pleased as there is finally people of her own age to play with. Things get rough as her father gambles away the Three Broomsticks - the very reason they moved. It causes tension that even the nine year old can notice. The daddy’s girl, while disappointed in her father, quickly forgives him though it does make life a bit harder.

1879 | Its Linnie’s turn to go to Hogwarts and she is almost more excited about being allowed a pet than going to school. That or her wand. She choose a small owl for a pet. It isn’t to useful for carrying large packages but it can handle letters perfectly fine, which is all she needs. It is a Little Owl and she finds herself attracted to its odd face shape and is even more pleased to find he sings and as such settles on naming him Tempo. She is sorted into Gryffindor.

1880 | After graduation, Hudson moves out and this prompts Linnie’s growing dislike of her brother for ripping their family apart.

1882 | Her sister starts school and custom to Woodcroft traditions, Emmy is allowed to choose a pet. She names her kitten Emma which Linnie thinks is a narcissistic choice though Emmy insist it is from her book. When her little sister is sorted in to the same house she is quite pleased.

1884 | The plague hits the Woodcroft family with Emmy catching it, though thankfully she pulls through. Now that she had finished her OWLs, she decides to withdraw from school. With Hudson gone,  she worries about being able tho afford two rounds of schooling and would rather work so Emmy could have her full seven years.  As such she finds a job with the --- family as a maid.

1885 | Hudson stops speaking to their father at all seventeen year old Linnie follows his lead and stops speaking to her brother.

1886 | While she had a steady job for the past two years, she words to take a job as a Lady's Maid for Elsbeth Lupin. The pay rate is far higher than the work she currently had. The high position amongst the servants and high pay proves to not come without a hidden catch as she is forced into an unbreakable vow to keep Elsbeth’s squibness a secret and than she has to work for at least ten years. The only benefit is the veryyyy high level of pay and with it, she has little to worry about and can easily support herself and her family if needed.

1887 | She discovers another benefit of working for Mrs Lupin. An extremely nice looking August Echelon-Arnost who has a personality to match his appearance - a man who Mrs Lupin’s brother and far out of her league. It's a bit of a one sided star crossed lovers event. As for everyone else's feelings in the household - she's a bit oblivious.
