"Margaret was unsurprised by her success. It was sometimes tiring being so skilled in all things, to be honest." — Margaret Callum in The Potion Brewing Competition
Did you know? The first commercial cigarettes were made in America in 1865, but cigarette smoking didn't become common until 1881 upon the invention of the cigarette-making machine.— Rune (submit your own!)

Summer 1885: Ophelia obsessed over author Adalbert Waffling but was unsuccessful in her scheming to meet him and get him to fall in love with her. Meanwhile, her roommate got kicked out of PSYR for having an awful family and Ophelia stole her clothes as she was packing. Hannah found out and turned her into a dog which was no fun.
Winter 1885-1886: Ophelia did some ineffective self-hurling and once ended up in a runaway sleigh with Herschel Dawlish. Gross. During the 'should women duel?' debates she threw Hannah under the bus by telling the Daily Prophet all about how she turned her into a dog once, but was mortified that the headline called her 'the Dog Girl' and retired to shame and anonymity for months.
Summer 1886: Nova had a baby in August. Ophelia spent a lot of time at the World's Fair. She continued to not get married.
Fall 1886: Ophelia met Roberto Devine while forcing her grandfather to buy her a niffler. Hannah got married and she attended a party at her house and met several other men, and was also nobly rescued from a koi pond by Mr. Devine.
Winter 1886-1887: Ophelia started writing for Witch Weekly as a fashion columnist. She attended a Ministry party in which she was trapped for an entire month with a few notable gentlemen, including Mr. Devine and the Minister of Magic. The Minister later asked her to dinner, but unfortunately did not seem interested after that.
Spring 1887: Ophelia threw a surprise party for her grandfather's 250 birthday, which gave him a literal heart attack. He managed not to die, and a week later announced that she was going to be married to Mr. Dawlish. She tried to force herself to accept that but was squicked out by his very physical advances when they met and escaped him by pretending to faint. She then ran away to her friend Nova's house, where she pretended to be a house guest to avoid scandal.
Ophelia has no idea what happens between a man and a woman other than kissing and touching. She once believed she could get pregnant by being kissed. Someone told her that wasn't true, so now she's not sure how it happens.
Ophelia has never smelled the same scents from a batch of Amortentia twice, since she falls for men so easily and the scents change as a result.
Ophelia has vaguely pondered the idea of asking her future husband to give one of their later children the Dippet last name. She isn't sure whether that's out of sentimentality for Armando, or her late family, or whether it just makes it more likely one of her children will end up with all his money when he dies.
Find someone who can out-cat-fight Ophelia.
Get her married (not necessarily happily).
Have Witch Weekly write about her marriage in a scandalous fashion.
