Did you know?

First names were most often used by childhood or school friends. If the friendship was made after school age, first names would only really be used by women. Men were far more likely to refer to their friends by their surnames, a mark of familiarity. — Documentation

Emilia Wright for Jude Wright. Casually alienating offspring since 18882.
Separating was also not a great idea, though they weren't doing great at staying together anyway. If she were to volunteer to be the human sacrifice.. well... Hogsmeade had plenty of debutantes anyway...

Luce Faucher-De Loncrey

Full Name: Luce Adaline Faucher-De Loncrey

Nickname(s): Lucy (only by friends)

Birthdate: August 20, 1876

Age: 12

Occupation: Student

Blood Status: Halfblood

Residence: London, England

Hogwarts House: Hufflepuff

Wand: Walnut, 12", slightly flexible, two unicorn hairs

Grandfather: Francois Faucher-De Loncrey - Deceased

Grandmother: Adaline Faucher-De Loncrey née Guilfort

Father: Gilbert Faucher De-Loncrey - Deceased

Mother: Emmeline Lavigne - Committed to Asylum

Aunt: _____ Faucher-De Loncrey

Uncle/Guardian: Francois Gilbert Faucher-De Loncrey
Eyes: Light blue eyes.

Hair: Long blonde hair.

Height: 5'1"

Clothing: She wears outfits that are very appropriate for a girl of her age, but at times prefers wizard robes.

Dominant Hand: Right Handed

Introvert: Luce is fantastic at focusing on a project in front of her, and prefers to work on one thing at a time. Thinking before she acts, her goal is to be a proper lady of society.

Sensor: Always one for practicality, she would rather work with reasonable solutions, then just random actions. Not one to shy from instructions and help from others, she'd prefer this instead of working alone.

Feeler: Warm and friendly from the very first encounter, Luce is always open to gaining new friends. She is a very compassionate girl, and loves to help others when they truly need it.

Judger: Her desire to be a proper woman has given her a deep motivation to take responsibilities seriously. Rules, in her opinion, are completely necessary to keep society from crumbling. Playing around is not her first priority, and she would rather work on projects first.
Amortentia: Her aunt’s perfume.

Patronus: Unknown

Boggart: Unknown

Star Sign: Leo

Hobbies: Learning as much proper etiquette as she can, reading, and singing.
1876: Emmeline murdered Luce's father, but that is not known to those in society (covered up by both families). Luce is born in a Belgium asylum, that her mother had been committed to, and sent to live with her uncle (her father’s brother) as his ward, unaware of the drama of her mother and the circumstances behind the death of her father. Her grandfather dies soon after she is born.

1883: The family starts to wonder when Luce will show signs of magic. Luce sees her uncle turn into a bird, and wants to do that one day.

1884: No signs of magic have yet to be shown, and Luce wonders if she even had magic.

1885: Luce shows her first signs of magic when she accidentally trips over one of her toys and, in her fear of hurting herself, wishes a pillow to soften the blow. One of the pillows from her bed quickly floats over and softens her small landing.

1886: Luce, her guardian, and her aunt move to London. It is the perfect opportunity for them to separate themselves from family drama.

1887: Luce is excited to start the school year, hoping to follow in the footsteps of her auntie.

Plot Preferences: Personally, I love making plots. I like planning things out. However, I'm also willing to plan things out, to then ditch the plan completely if the muse takes me and those I thread with in another direction. My characters tend to do as they please, leaving me wondering what on earth I just typed. Trying to make them do something that they will not naturally do seems strange, and won't work the way that the plan was supposed to.

"Mature" content does not bother me in threads. Language, violence, dark content, and even smut don't bother me (though if we are gonna do smut, there has got to be a good reason for it happening at all). However I'm not comfortable doing these things if it would not be something that my character would do, and/or if it is not for plot development.

For me, I like to try to type as much as my muse will allow. Typically I try to match with the other poster, if not posting more. I do not expect anyone to have to match my post word count if their muse does not call for it.
